About Avartan Foundation Org

Avartan Foundation Created by our forefathers from ancient times of human history, this system of music was developed specifically for the purpose of self connection. Though our roots are in India, this music has crossed social, cultural, and geographical boundaries, and has found its reach all across the world. Just as ancient sciences and physical arts such as yoga and ayurveda belong to all of humanity, so does music. The principles of self-realization, meditation, and purification of the soul are universal and belong to all, which makes this ancient art form a property of all people. Here at the Avartan Foundation, we strive to educate and propagate this art form with purity of intention. We take our craft seriously, and want to present it at the highest quality to knowing we have the power to bring the highest levels of self connection and expression in ourselves and others. We strive to encourage creativity and imagination through music reaching as many people as we can through performances, lectures, classes, and community service. We also respect and honor our artists knowing the years and dedication in training to get to mastery of these powerful ancient arts. All of our programs account for artist expenses, and ensure that they are honored for their work without having to worry about finances. We wish to see this art grow in an environment of support, camaraderie, and sincerity.
