This duo was hosting a party I attended and they were great entertainers making sure all of us danced and enjoyed the evening to the fullest!

We hired Aparna and Vinay for my hubby’s 40th B’day celebration. They truly made it a memorable event for us. Their selection of songs was perfect for the occasion and our age group. Vinay’s Emcee skills are too good- he engaged all our guests and kept all of us entertained. We would highly recommend Mehekte Sur for any of your celebrations!

Mehekte Sur is amazing! They are full of energy and we loved them. Great planning, attention to detail, and crowd engagement. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Mehekte Sur Jodi was more than just singing. They coordinated a very personalized theme and engaged the crowd. Babyshowers are usually games and all but this added a little variety to the event

The price is very reasonable compared to all other Dj’s and Emcee’s services out there. Vinay was great hosting our event did great job entertaining the crowd. The song selections were also great. I would love to have them at another event. It was the best decision we made to book them for our event.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. Met this husband and wife duo at a friends 50th Birthday party. Wife being a Doctor and Husband being a Senior Director, on weekends, you can see them following their passion. And this is precisely what makes them different from others. I was quite impressed the way they handled and managed the entire event. What I specifically liked was, unlike other DJs where they play the songs, Vinay and Aparna sang those songs... and that too non-stop, without looking at the lyrics. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. I was unsure about including live music at my Brazilian-Punjabi Sangeet. I originally only booked a DJ but adding live performances was a great decision. Vinay and Aparna were excellent. They understood the vibe I wanted and performed songs that resonated with everyone—Punjabi, Mehndi/Wedding classics, Bhangra, etc. Both Indian and non-Indian guests enjoyed themselves and danced. They brought all the audience into lively action with their beautiful singing and even senior citizens danced for the lovely tunes. Both did such a fantastic job with singing - they take efforts in understanding the songs that the hosts would like to hear- keep all involved- Vinay is a very good MC - I would recommend a 100%. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. For some reason I could not find the type of entertainment that I was looking for in the Southern California area. I am glad that I did not find it, otherwise I would never have of met Vinay and Aparna. I found Mehekte Sur as I was doing Google Searches. I flew them out from New Jersey and in all honesty, they did not disappoint. It was absolutely 100% the best decision for an entertainment vendor. Throughout the entire process Vinay and Aparna stayed in contact with me through texts and phone calls reassuring me that they will be here. Vinay & Aparna did an amazing job at Emceeing and crowd engagement. Their voices are fantastic with all the songs that they sang. They meshed so well with each other as well as into my family, as if we were related and just had not seen each other in a while. Best decision to hire Mehekte Sur for my small house party. Vinay was an outstanding DJ and Emcee. Really great value for the money spent. Good prep for the song list and the vibe that I wanted. The party was a huge success thanks to his amazing music! Highly recommend them

Vinay and Aparna are amazing singers. They made our friends’ 15th anniversary truly special with their surreal performances. We were all blown away with their soul touching voices and choice of songs. Listening to Kishore Kumar classics in Vinay’s voice took everyone to the golden age of Bollywood. Aparna brought back memories of Lata Di and Madan Mohan with Abhi Na Jao. I loved how they also incorporated children’s music. They are a complete package. Highly recommended!

Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.
