Hiring Jeetu was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding!! Jeetu played the handpan at our Hindu wedding, tabla at our cocktail hour, and dhol at our baraat and reception. He also tied my husbands turban for our Sikh wedding! Jeetu is incredibly talented in all the instruments he plays! He helped us do a special entrance for our bride and groom reception entrance which was very unique and hyped everyone up for the evening. Truly one of my BEST decision in my wedding planning was to hire Jeetu to bring all the vibes throughout my wedding weekend! Our guests were obsessed with him!!! Jeetu was amazing! We had an interracial wedding with a Hindu ceremony in Asheville, NC and he assisted with a wide range of tasks over the course of several hours. He first assisted with tying our safas (headgear) for several men in advance of the wedding ceremony. He then played the dhol (indian musical instrument) for our baraat (indian wedding processional with dancing) prior to our ceremony. Finally, he played the tablas (indian musical instrument) during our cocktail hour set list and even did an impromptu collaboration with violin/cello instrumentalists for 2 more Hindi songs. We could not be happier with his performance and broad musical range!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the phenomenal live dhol performance by Bala Mahadevan during my son's wedding. One of the highlights was the baraat procession, where he led the groom's entrance with such vigor that set the perfect tone for the wedding. In collaboration with me and my family he was able to have a playlist of songs in Tamil, Telugu as well as Hindi. He also had the perfect song for the bride's entrance. He worked well with the very demanding panditji. He understands the hindu customs and plans his playlist accordingly. Beyond his musical talent, Bala was very professional, he provided quotes and also discussed with the venue coordinator about sound systems and other challenges. He arrived on time and set up everything by himself. Very positive and works well during high pressure situations.
