Hands down the best DJ/host we’ve had at any event! The baby shower games were so creative—photo trivia, green light red light, baby charades—each one was a total crowd-pleaser and nothing like the usual stuff. Everyone was laughing, engaged, and genuinely having a blast. The live singing was the cherry on top. Guests are still talking about how fun and different it was. Highly recommended! ??????

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Vinay and Aparna know how to light up a party! Recently they managed the sequencing of performances in our event and it was great! The whole 4-hour felt fluid and entertaining. Both are great singers and Vinay can do some impersonations as well. lol. So I definitely recommend them for entertainment in your events!

Vinay and Aparna performed at my mother's 75th surprise birthday party last month. They made the event very lively. We had informed them that Dev Anand was one of the favorite actors of my mom. Vinay did some mimicry acting like Dev Anand and also told some stories around him which were unknown for most audience. This was in addition to their singing and came as another surprise for my mom and all guests. I had some games planned during the event which did not happen because the party did run somewhat out of schedule. However, I would still give them 5 stars since the main intention of the games was to engage guests and they were kept engaged anyway. We got good feedback from several guests that the party ran very nice and a lot of credit does go to Vinay and Aparna. We would highly recommend the duo.

Vinay and Aparna performed at my mother's 75th surprise birthday party last month. They made the event very lively. We had informed them that Dev Anand was one of the favorite actors of my mom. Vinay did some mimicry acting like Dev Anand and also told some stories around him which were unknown for most audience. This was in addition to their singing and came as another surprise for my mom and all guests. I had some games planned during the event which did not happen because the party did run somewhat out of schedule. However, I would still give them 5 stars since the main intention of the games was to engage guests and they were kept engaged anyway. We got good feedback from several guests that the party ran very nice and a lot of credit does go to Vinay and Aparna. We would highly recommend the duo.

Vinay and Aparna know how to light up a party! Recently they managed the sequencing of performances in our event and it was great! The whole 4-hour felt fluid and entertaining. Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.

They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. It was everything we wanted for the surprise birthday party.

Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. For some reason I could not find the type of entertainment that I was looking for in the Southern California area. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! This is one amazing Jodi! We connected so well in the initial conversation regarding my event, that I just had to find a way to make it work for them to sing in Chicago for my friends and family. We are big music enthusiasts so having them at our event really energized everyone in the room, from my 2 year old to my father in law and his senior friends. I watched and thoroughly enjoyed the African Special Virtual Concert that Mehekte Sur did. Loved how the session was entertaining and at the sametime informative too. Aparna's rendition of the Swahili Song was outstanding!

Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They sang a variety of numbers of different genres and singers with equal proficiency. Would strongly recommend for any kind of party. All the best to you Aparna and Vinay - you both rocked!

We had a great time during our MCS hiking club fun night event on Saturday. Both Arpana and Vinay amazed me with their beautiful singing. They're very talented and I'm very excited to listen to them live. Hopefully in 2021, we can invite you guys when the pandemic is over.

I live in UAE and have heard about mehekte sur south africa special show..I did joined out of curiosity and was glued to the screen till the end..indeed loved the information and the entertainment..vinay and his lovely partner were simply amazing ..vinay has been a true entertainer throughout..simply loved watching the show..locking forward for a middle east special show from both ..

They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Aparna and Vinay were great at our virtual holiday party. We had a great time listening to their beautiful voices along with little stories about the background of the songs and their composers. I hired Mehekte Sur for my engagement party as my parents are big fans of the Golden Era songs and wanted a segment for the same at my engagement party for their friends. Vinay and Aparna worked with us to not only cover that segment but also spent time with us to plan the songs for the couple dance at the start of the event. They really surprised us with their versatility in singing by creating a customized medley of fast songs that really set the mood before the DJ music kicked in. Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . We have gotten great feedback from our guests and cannot thank Mehekte Sur enough.

Vinay and Aparna were wonderful and their entertainment was great. We had a family lunch and afternoon garba party, and everyone enjoyed the songs during lunch and the lively garba and raas music. Mehekte Sur team did an awesome job organizing a Ghazal evening for our private family friends gathering recently. Their ensemble was great, complete with Manoj Ji leading the ghazal front preformed very soulfully and Prateek Ji at tabla. Evening ended with live songs from Aparna and Vinay. Great time and Mehekte Sur team was really energetic and in tune with the evening's mood!
