There are some special tips to make sure you have a fantastic holiday this season and you are at peace leaving your home safe and secure.

Street Safety Tips for Children

Children are always loaded with energy. However, you have to teach them how to maintain decorum during celebrations.

Always look around, both ways, before you cross the street – that’s one mandatory rule to follow.

Cross the street only at crosswalks or corners.

Always remain on the sidewalk. Hats and masks should not obstruct your child’s view – face paint is always a better idea

Avoid dressing them with baggy clothes as they could lead to serious injuries when you rush.

Visibility Rules

Equip your kids with a lot of items that could make them easily visible – such as, flash lights or glow sticks with batteries.

If there’s a haunted house nearby, never enter alone. Always advise your children to maintain a group.

Count total number of heads before letting children into the haunted house to make sure they are safe.

Tips for Driving

During the festive time, children are usually out at 5:30 p.m. and they might not get back before 9:30 p.m. Be alert while driving as children can be on the streets.
