How far would my house suit solar panels?

Sun kissed pale beauty. Solar panels are desirable.

No shady houses: Fancying an eerie opera as it happens in Count Dracula’s Masquerade balls is a great idea. However, too much of shade doesn’t serve the purpose. I believe in sunny weather to certain point that it becomes easier for me to use solar energy.

Sunny weather and lesser shading is an ideal match to buy solar panels.

North-faced flat roofs: A kind of roofing that makes life easier. Installing solar panels on flat roofs is considered a wise man’s act. Experts say that they charge onetime fee for installing them.  Roofs facing north make room for using up the energy efficiently.

The deal is quite fair enough, if the roofs are certified strong and stable for 15 more years. Country houses, those are centuries old might need roof replacement. North facing roofs are angled towards sun perfectly.

Note: California has a tweaked Geography. Roofs facing south produce chunks of solar energy.

How much am I going to save on energy efficiency?

I pay an energy bill of $350 per quarter. Then, it’s implied that I should use up utmost energy during broad daylight.

A comparison would speak up better – Solar electricity rate Vs. Regular electricity.

Regular electricity depends on the amount of coal, transportation and State acts. Only thing is I’m going to depend on it 24/7.

Like to drop some figures, by the way!

Ahem, regular electricity prices for residential purpose in 2014 was quoted as ¢12.50 per KWH.

They say “go green” because, I get twice the times by solar power.

Annual solar power ranges up to $1,635.20. And I use up most of the energy.

Which one of the materials would go well with solar panel installation?

Is it metal, cement tile, composite, tar and gravel, wood shake?

I was educated about this one with the following bit.

Residential solar roofs are looked up for their durability. Therefore, asphalt shingles/composite shingles don’t need replacements.

(Solar panels don’t need replacements often and it’s a generic fact)

Slates need an evaluation before opting for the type of solar panel material.
