About Butter Cupcakery

I grew up in Goa, a kaleidoscopic tropical paradise famous for its beautiful beaches and mouth-watering food. In my childhood, my mom made delectable cakes with buttercream frosting for each birthday. I and my brother used to tell mom to keep some extra buttercream that we would lick-off, a tiny bit at a time, till the bowl is shiny clean. As I grew up, I went for higher studies outside Goa and then moved to the USA with my love. As an adult, there hasn’t been a single birthday when I haven’t missed those scrumptious and mouth watering childhood cakes. Especially because it had a homemade touch that I never found in any store or bakery till date. When I kissed my daughter, Avni, on her first month birthday anniversary, I decided that Avni should have a similar experience and that’s where my journey began.Today, baking cakes is my passion and a hobby. I enjoy baking custom design 3D cakes, cheese cakes, and cupcakes, including eggless cakes for my vegetarian friends. I believe in using natural flavoring extracts, and buttercream or cream cheese frosting -If I am reluctant on baking it for my daughter, I wouldn’t bake for others. I have baked cakes for many events from a small family get-together to birthday and anniversary celebrations.
