About Carnatic Vidyalaya
Carnatic Vidyalaya is a premier school of Indian music for children of all ages. Children learn Carnatic music, which is a form of classical music from the southern part of India. Carnatic music is practiced widely in India and the Thyagaraja Aradhana in Thiruvayyaru and December concert series in Chennai are two great events that most people don't want to miss.Children learn the basic components of music, songs as well as slokams. Music is known to positively influence children's studies and Carnatic music is no different. The children not only learn a great form of music, but also help maintain the cultural ties with our home country. I have been teaching music for more than 13 years. It is a pleasure to teach young children.
