About Classical Carnatic Music By Gayathri Premkumar
Hello all, I have started learning Carnatic music at the age of seven under Ms. Kavitha, following which she learned varnams from Mrs. Yamuna. She learned advanced lessons under the tutelage of Guru Anaimalai Kalaisudarmani Sri.R. Gnana Prakasam. Her debut concert, at the age of 11, was at Sokanathar temple at Salem in Tamilnadu, India. She has since won many awards and prizes, has perÂforÂmed concerts at various temples in Tamil Nadu, India. She has completed Tamilnadu Technical Examination for Music and currently doing a bachelor degree in Music. She is teachÂing Carnatic music (singing), both basic and in advanced level.
