About Diamond Design Studio

The journey started with founder, Amir A. Hooda, and his wife, Anar, in 1979 in the heart of Downtown, Toronto on Yonge Street across the Eaton Center. In 1985, Amir acquired his Diamond Grading Certificate from GIA. As years passed, they decided to relocate to the prestigious Sheraton Center Hotel (Toronto) in 1995 and reposition themselves to serve mainstream clients. This was achieved in 2000, when Diamond Design Studio started to specialize in custom designed jewellery, with an emphasis on diamond engagement rings and diamond wedding bands. In 2008, Anjuman, Amir’s daughter and recent graduate of Ryerson University, joined the company. With the launch of their website in 2010, an initiative of Anjuman, the company has been able to expand their clientele all over Canada, USA, UK, and Australia.
