Had the pleasure of working with the DJ Raj company for my big Indian wedding. In terms of the process of wedding planning - Saorabh/Raj, who is the main point of contact, Is fantastic to work with. He is very responsive, and gives pretty clear ideas what can be provided, pricing, without much hidden in verbal/contractual sophistication. The DJ's are pretty thorough, and I'll give a shout out to DJ Prit who had to be brought in last minute but had a fire playlist, and a very big shout out to MC Sarob for doing some great of on the fly troubleshooting and for all-around being an extremely passionate guy. Overall, highly recommend.

We had a great experience working with MC Raj and DJ Manan throughout our wedding weekend. They were professional, organized, and clearly very experienced from the planning stage through the events. We had a Bengali/Indian Sangeet night, and I couldn’t have done it without Tausif from Xtensive Productions and DJ Gaurav handling everything so smoothly. There was so much chaos but Tausif and Gaurav handled everything so calmly and professionally. We had last-minute requests and a lot of moving parts, and they were both so accommodating and caring. They are very passionate about their craft and you can tell. My brother’s Sangeet night was outstanding, and will be remembered very fondly by my family and friends!

Amazing timing and expressions while conducting the “Baraat on the horse”.. was training off and on soo required lot of flexibility and innovations which Raj was able to execute with supreme timing and enthusiasm!!! I contacted DJ JT about a year and a half ago to play at my son’s wedding. From the start he was gracious and patient. All throughout, he patiently answered my multiple questions and reassured me that it will be a lovely event. FYI--We were not going to have dancing at our wedding but I still wanted a DJ for the wedding ceremony and reception and wanted JT to make the evening fun and entertaining. Which he did beautifully. we had our wedding last weekend, so we planned our reception and for our sangeet, we thought we would just have a Spotify playlist playing in the background for our small gathering. We decided to make our sangeet little bigger and better eventually but the DJ we hired for our reception was not available the day before. Therefore, we looked for another DJ for our sangeet event and we found DJXLNC with 5 star reviews. We hired him and it was the best decision ever. He brought in so much energy to our event, that he hosted and emceed the entire event, with his timed jokes and humor. The song he played catered to our guests perfectly and even hosted games for us. We had so much fun on our Sangeet that on our reception day, guests were asking for him instead of the DJ we hired for the reception and all our family members had the same experience that DJ on the sangeet was much better than our reception. He was so interactive with the guests (we had about 350 guests) and making sure all having fun and although we had an Emcee, he added his flavor to the mix and everyone enjoyed. He's funny, and his music/remixes are so perfect. Even he co-hosted fun games and music was just on spot. We had no plan for the dance floor but he managed to get all the aunties to get on the dance floor too. It was so much fun. Wish we had him for our wedding reception. But if you are looking for a DJ, hire him. He is really really very good.

I don't write reviews and therefore it took me time to write this one as he deserves my honest feedback. We had a wedding on a Wednesday June 28 - due to religious constraints and our friend told us about him and we hired him. We knew it will be a weekday and guests will be tired after a long day, and after long religious in the evening, dinner and all, we were expecting people to start leaving, but we were wronged by DJ XLNC for all rightful reasons. After ceremonies in the atrium were over (and he helped us setting the speaker and mic for priest impromptu, as we didn't told him about it, and it worked out great) and he started playing his fusion remixes and people started enjoying. We had no agenda that day besides ceremonies and dinner but because of him, he single handedly boosted our reception lively and when we switched to the dance floor, people stayed till 11PM and danced. Unbelievable. From lounge music to club style (actually better than that) dance music, all phenomenal. He knows his stuff and he delivers. He has quality stuff and he is very talented and experienced. If you are looking for DJ, better not look for anyone else, hire him. You and your guests will enjoy and be pleased. We had a blast with JT and his staff. He is extremely detail oriented and took so much time to coordinate with us, our planners and any other vendors. He helped us with the music and lighting for all our pre wedding events including coordinating with live singers for our cocktail hour and for car rental service. We hired DJ XLNC for my sister's destination wedding in Ft. Lauderdale , FL 2 weeks ago. I knew him since he did our wedding and yet again for my sister. He was amazing as always. last month was our wedding anniversary and I know this review is long overdue. We were lucky to have our wedding before lockdowns started last year so we had a big wedding - probably the last one for 2020. Our phenomenal DJ was DJ XLNC. From pre-planning of our multi-day event to going over any possible details and sharing his insight on how things may go, made a big difference in the planning side of it all. And each day they're there before time ready with the smiles (as face-covering was not required then) - we loved it, our families enjoyed and our guests were happy too. I hired DJ XLNC for my sangeet and some other DJ for my reception. My sangeet was MUCH more energetic and had better music than the reception. I wished I would've hired them for both days but I had hired my reception DJ before (not gonna say who but he is a much famous Indian DJ here) as we were not planning sangeet before, it was kinda last minute decision. They were amazing! They had the dance floor lively throughout until the venue kinda kicked us out :) They are a fun group that knows how to keep a party going. Anyone out there looking for DJ hire DJ XLNC. They are the best and blending east to west and west to east music was just great. I checked their website for demo mixes. I HIGHLY recommend them.

We hired DJ XLNC Shunail for my brother's reception that took place on 12/23/2019 at Swissotel. I must say that he did an amazing job. His selection of songs and the remixes are well organized and superb. He played all the songs we requested plus more from his preference. His lightings at the event made the event very colorful and an elegant look. Also the lights on the dance floor made the audience turned up with his selection of songs. We really like the monogram he made for the bride and groom and that is also elegantly done. DJ Shunail is a very nice, helpful, considerate and humble person to work with. He was extremely professional throughout the process and communicated details and needs well in advance. He took the lead in coordinating with our venue, emcee and performers. It removed a lot of stress in the planning stages of our event. In future, if other opportunities arise for different occasions, I will hire him and I will recommend him to all my friends and family.

I first reached out to DJ XLNC for my fusion Indian-American wedding. My husband and I wanted a DJ that could easily switch between top 40s and Bollywood so that all our guests had a good time. Sarfaraz was the person I was mostly in contact with initially and then shortly after, he connected me with DJ Shunail who ran our wedding. We booked them about 1 year before our wedding and from that first communication through the night of, both Shunail and Sarfaraz were clear, responsive, and SO easy to work with. They were totally focused on making sure the music was exactly what we wanted. Shunail sent us sample itineraries and song lists to help organize us and did a great job of ensuring the day of song requests from family were run by me or my husband first as we had asked. I had a horror story of a cousin whose a DJ changed her entrance song right before she walked out because and uncle wanted him to without consulting her - that was not something I had to even remotely worry about with DJ Shunail. Once the party started, he had a wonderful read of the dance floor and was able to keep the crowd going the entire night. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with and would recommend them to any of my friends, family and everyone!

DJ XLNC was HANDS DOWN the best vendor we worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the very beginning, he was responsive and available. He completely understood the vibe we were going for, and he had every guest from age 10 to age 75 tearing up the dance floor all night. He did an especially amazing job of integrating our must plays with his own picks, which we encouraged him do as he got a sense of the crowd. The dancing music was the best, and the music earlier in the night was at a perfect background level of noise for dinner and cocktail hour - no one had trouble hearing each other. We had a mix party, people of all ages and types (you know mixed crowd - so to say) and each and everyone had a good time throughout the night. People requested them to stay later but we were so tired dancing to his live remixes and they're awesome. Felt like everyone got their flavor of music that night and enjoyed. DJ Raj and his team were incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding. During the event itself, Raj & Akash did a great job getting things going during the Reception. The music was a hit! Raj and Akash read the room perfectly, saw what our friends and guests were responding to, and created a dance playlist to match that. We had so much fun on the dance floor!!!

We are so glad we went with DJ Raj for our wedding. We knew the day my husband and I decided we were getting married we would pick DJ RAJ. We had heard about him from so many people and had attended parties where they DJ’ed. You would think if you hire a DJ, they will just come and DJ and that’s it. That is definitely NOT the case when you hire DJ RAJ. You hire DJ RAJ, you get everything. Best music, MC, lighting, projections, tvs… and the list goes on. From day one Raj was extremely helpful and our main point of contact for literally everything we needed. Usually any vendor would try to sell you as many things as possible, but not with DJ RAJ. He helped us save money everywhere even if it would be below our budget. That did not compromise quality ever. He made a custom package just for us exactly how we wanted it. Going in we didn’t exactly know what we wanted and who to go to. Raj has a lot of experience in this industry, which is why he is already known as one of the best. If I had a question about decorators, wedding planners, venues or even the elephant for my wedding, my first stop was him and by the second month into my wedding planning, he became my first and only stop as I saw his recommendations were the best and cost friendly. As guests were leaving our wedding, the most asked question of the day was “Oh my god. Who was your DJ?”. Honestly, I have never seen my grandmother stay on the dance floor that long. The music was amazing from start to finish and I honestly thought that was not possible. DJ RAJ killed it. He catered to my Indian relatives and to my friends and co-workers. I would never go to any other DJ after having DJ RAJ…can’t go back to anything else. In general, the baraat was perfect…from the music to the MC and dhol, we had never seen a baraat quite like this. Second, the wedding was exactly like we had imagined and even better was the reception set-up – it was everything we had imagined and more. If anyone has seen the Sheraton Mahwah ballroom, there is some revamping needed in order to get that wedding look. DJ Raj Entertainment did a fantastic job with the make over of our reception hall (which was also where the wedding was just a few hours earlier) in a quick and effective manner. No complaints, no problems and absolutely no questions. The whole process was so smooth. DJ Amlan kept our guests on the dance floor until the hotel kicked us out. If you have the money to splurge on the star-lit dance floor, DO IT!! DJ RAJ & crew are the best!!!! We had a very challenging 2 days of wedding celebrations considering Raj and his team transported all the equipment and staffing of 10 from New Jersey! Despite both days with large scale production, tons of equipment and hundreds of miles away from his home base, Raj did a fantastic job, with amazing lighting, the best sound and very talented staff! Everything was on time and looked very professional!!! DJ Amlan & MC Raj did an outstanding job – we could not have asked for a more talented team. The Garba was perfect Raj provided complete backline equipment, sound, lighting DJ and MC and everything just right, my guest were blown away!! The wedding day started with a baraat, which was a VERY high energy event. Raj really got people going by calling them out on the dance area, by picking excellent songs, and by getting the crowd into the music. He even got the groom’s parents and American friends dancing, which is not an easy thing to do! That amazing energy carried all the way through the baraat which lasted a good 45 minutes. The reception went perfectly, from the entrances to the first dances, speeches, etc. We had a very dance-happy crowd composed mostly of younger people (less of the older crowd), but DJ Amlan mixed it up well so everyone loved the atmosphere. In addition to being professional, Raj has a great personality and is very easy to work with. He gives the impression of confidence and calmness, like he has planned everything out ahead of time and accounted for everything that could go wrong. This allowed us to relax a little knowing we were in good hands.

These two individuals were WONDERFUL! The music could not have been better and the service and support was excellent. We got married this past weekend and the entire party was set outside, with an inside area we thought might not get a whole lot of use. At one point the music was so good inside the whole 250 person party was on the dance floor inside our tiny little space!!!! It was so great! Many of my guests asked where we found such good DJ's and honestly it was by chance. After the first phone discussion I felt immediately comfortable. It was absolutely PERFECT.

We booked DJ Raj Entertainment for my sister's wedding back in 2011, and they did an amazing job. When it came to planning my wedding, my family immediately knew that we wanted to book them again! Luckily, since we booked a full year in advance, we were able to book DJ Raj himself (we had a different MC for my sister's wedding who was also excellent). DJ Raj did a great job with the lighting for both our Sangeet and Wedding. He even found a certain type of string light that I wanted for our Sangeet venue, which he didn't already have. DJ Raj also found us the BEST henna artists - I was so happy with the intricate design they did and it lasted for almost a month. Raj also helped us rent the chairs for our mandaap, since our florist wasn't able to find any for a reasonable price.

Amlan & the team at DJ RAJ Entertainment were absolutely wonderful for my wedding. They made everything from start to finish the smoothest possible, and made sure all of my guests had an amazing time. I had every single one of my friends come up to me asking for their contact information to book for future events. They are AMAZING.

We had an outstanding experience with DJ Raj and the whole crew! We got married in West Virginia which immediately limited our vendor choices and increased our budget to bring East Indian vendors to the area. We used DJ Raj for mobile baraat (730AM) and the whole crew was amazing in being flexible with timing even though they didn't DJ the wedding ceremony and had to stay for the reception (530PM). Everyone raved about the DJ and their energy and excellent choice in music. Aside from a select few songs, I put all of my trust on the skills of DJ Smith and I was ecstatic with the mixes. I could not say more good things about these guys. They are professional, fun and truly make you're special day the best possible. They are well worth the money! I would recommend them to anyone at anytime. In addition, I suggest that you opt for their LED lights because they will transform you reception!
