Hands down the best DJ/host we’ve had at any event! The baby shower games were so creative—photo trivia, green light red light, baby charades—each one was a total crowd-pleaser and nothing like the usual stuff. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

We would like to thank Dj JT and his team for doing an amazing job. This is the first time we hosted a party at our house. We wanted to make sure we have a DJ who is a familiar with all type of music from 50s to all the way to the new generation as we had different age groups. One of the best decisions we did make is booking the black starlight dance floor that they offer .when we walked into the room for our pictures. We were blown away by how everything looked. I definitely recommend a dancefloor to all future clients who are looking for a wow factor. We also did get screens and lighting around the room to us. Our day felt like a movie. We even added the starlight dance floor for both days instead of one. JT was the DJ at my daughter's graduation and 18th birthday celebration. He was great with both MC'ing the program and playing awesome songs throughout the night. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. I heard about JT through my friend so I went ahead and hired him for my wedding and reception and I have to say this that it was the BEST decision I had ever made for my wedding. JT and his team were AWESOME. I’m Punjabi Indian but my husband is Dominican, so I was really concerned as to how are we going to have a great party in which we can cater to both cultures. My family and I have booked DJ Jt Productions for many of our functions. The music at our events were fantastic. It was the right balance of songs the DJ handpicked to keep the atmosphere at a perfect level. There wasn’t a point that a music change interrupted the flow. DJ JT was hired for our sangeet and he was great. Friendly, reliable, and talented. Sound quality was good for our venue. He kept the bhangra going all night long and the guests entertained. He timed our grand entrance and jaggo very well. I would definitely recommend him!

We had a blast with JT and his staff. He is extremely detail oriented and took so much time to coordinate with us, our planners and any other vendors. He helped us with the music and lighting for all our pre wedding events including coordinating with live singers for our cocktail hour and for car rental service. My wife and I come from different backgrounds (I am Sikh Punjabi and she is Hindu Gujarati). We had about 5 separate events that he covered and JT effortlessly handled both cultures whether it was a separate event and joint event. Him and his staff were very kind to our family and friends and made sure to involve/please them during the events. And the music was EXCELLENT. Whether it was the jaggo, sangeet, baraat or reception, all we had to do was tell JT what we wanted our “vibes” to be for that event and he just ran with it. This is one amazing Jodi! We connected so well in the initial conversation regarding my event, that I just had to find a way to make it work for them to sing in Chicago for my friends and family. We are big music enthusiasts so having them at our event really energized everyone in the room, from my 2 year old to my father in law and his senior friends. Also, we have the same Indian background so they planned some extremely special touches - from singing Konkani and Marathi bhajans to bless my daughter, to dancing alongside my mom while singing some grandma-grandkid songs, and chatting it up with my father-in-law and friends in Marathi. Vinay and Aparna organized the entertainment, including DJ, singing/Karaoke,and some games at am event yesterday. The execution was flawless even inspite of rain threatening to require a change to indoors when everything was set up outside. Had so much fun after a very long time.

I recently attended an event where Mehekte Sur performed. Vinay has great sense of music, his anchoring is phenomenal and Aparna’s voice will take you back to the Bollywood retro era. I highly recommend this duo for your celebrations.

I watched and thoroughly enjoyed the African Special Virtual Concert that Mehekte Sur did. Loved how the session was entertaining and at the sametime informative too. Aparna's rendition of the Swahili Song was outstanding!

Mehekte sur jodi is superb! They organized a dance party that we were invited to and we had an amazing time. Aparna and Vinay have great energy and can read the crowd. They kept us entertained with games, karaoke and their own melodies in between. Vinay's song selection kept us on the dance floor until it was time to leave. Will highly recommend them if you are looking for a fun time with friends or family !!

Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They sang a variety of numbers of different genres and singers with equal proficiency. Would strongly recommend for any kind of party. All the best to you Aparna and Vinay - you both rocked!

We had a great time during our MCS hiking club fun night event on Saturday. Both Arpana and Vinay amazed me with their beautiful singing. They're very talented and I'm very excited to listen to them live. Hopefully in 2021, we can invite you guys when the pandemic is over.
