Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. Aparna brought back memories of Lata Di and Madan Mohan with Abhi Na Jao. I loved how they also incorporated children’s music. They are a complete package. Highly recommended!

Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Highly recommend them for any small or big functions which do with their live band . Thankyou Vinay and Aparna for a great memory in our memory box

Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! This is one amazing Jodi! We connected so well in the initial conversation regarding my event, that I just had to find a way to make it work for them to sing in Chicago for my friends and family. Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Aparna and Vinay were great at our virtual holiday party. We had a great time listening to their beautiful voices along with little stories about the background of the songs and their composers. Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . Hands down one of the best Valentine’s Parties we have attended in a long time. Mehekte Sur did a great job with the planning and their personalized entertainment offering. Emcee Vinay was the soul of the party and kept everyone engaged. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were there.

We hired Mehekte Sur for Holiday Party of Jain Jagruti Center New Jersey on Dec-09-2017. Both Vinay & Aparna were fabulous. The song selection was fantastic and the unique thing about them was that the Romantic duets seemed so genuine as they are a married couple. Vinay made the games and proceedings much more fun with his Emcee skills and ended the evening with some great DJ music. They are super value for your money and we would highly recommend them to make any event a memorable one.

We saw the Mehekte Sur jodi in action at our cousin's wedding. Aparna's rendition of the Punjabi folk songs was really good. Vinay's Emcee skills kept the crowd entertained and engaged and the best part was the natural on-stage chemistry between the lovely couple during the singing segment. Very unique. Highly recommended.

Mehekte Sur performed for our pre-wedding sangeet party. They organized everything right from food, DJ and dance to music- antakshari for the guests! They planned ahead of time, collected pictures and memories from our friends and created a surprise video for us. They also put together interesting games for our guests and made the event engaging and memorable! Best part is, they are simply passionate about what they do and that makes it even more fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend them for a personalized experience!??

Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . We have gotten great feedback from our guests and cannot thank Mehekte Sur enough.

Mehekte Sur performed at our Annual Diwali event and their performance rocked. They were so lively and energetic and their song medley was pure adrenaline. They had pretty much everyone on their feet and the crowd went crazy. Super performance by a very talented singing duo. They will feature in all our future events. A big thanks to them for their participation and support in this key community event. They were very easy to work with and most of all, we loved how appreciative they were for all the non profit work we do. We look forward to working with them in the future. I hired Mehekte Sur for my engagement party as my parents are big fans of the Golden Era songs and wanted a segment for the same at my engagement party for their friends. Vinay and Aparna worked with us to not only cover that segment but also spent time with us to plan the songs for the couple dance at the start of the event. They really surprised us with their versatility in singing by creating a customized medley of fast songs that really set the mood before the DJ music kicked in. They are a great team and I would highly recommend them!
