About DuCret School Of Art

The duCret School of Art began as the Van Emburgh School of Art, founded in 1926 by artist and teacher Marjorie Van Emburgh. Its aim was to create an institution where students could obtain an art education comparable with that found in schools and academies in major cultural centers. duCret is the perfect art school for central New Jersey. Between Philadelphia and New York, it offers New Jersey residents art courses close at hand. Non-Profit Arts School in New Jersey for ages 8 to 108 founded in 1926 Mission: Designing, Developing Art Philosophy of Contemporary and Traditional methods for duCret and the artistic community.
