The Esthetic Institute is a private licensed and certified Beauty School operating in Virginia since 1992. The Esthetic Institute has operated in the Tri-State area for over 25 years. The school tracks its performance statistics with respect to completion, licensure, and placement. The Esthetic Institute is Certified by SCHEV, Licensed by DPOR, and Accredited by NACCAS.Our state of the art facility located in Vienna Virginia, has ease of access from many areas in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Several metro lines are accessible and nearby, and a bus stop is located right in front of our building on Old Courthouse Rd. Our 9,000 square feet state of the art facility is equipped with distinct work areas which are utilized for classroom theory, hands on demonstrations and student clinics. These areas include modern teaching aids with supportive audio-visual equipment designed to encourage those students who learn visually. Students at the Esthetic Institute will use professional salon grade products during the course of their study and we proudly partner with Dermalogica, IMAGE and Lira just to name a few, as well as our very own Esthetic Institute skincare line. Each student will receive his/her own lab material for use in the practical sessions including handouts and lecture notes. Rated 5.0 I completed my Basic and Masters Esthetic program at EI. I had a wonderful experience. All the instructors were very knowledgeable and excellent at teaching all ascpects of the field. They were also very nice and helpful if anyone needed extra help to understanding something. The hands on and training in the clinic was very valuable as a learning experience as it helps to prepare students for the outside world whether working on their own or joining a spa or working in a medical practice. I plan on continuing my education at EI to take the Permanent Makeup course and the prep course for the CIDESCO Diploma. I would and do suggest joining this school if you are interested in the esthetics field. It was the best decision of my life!

Rated 5.0 I just completed my masters program - this school is amazing. The instructors know what they're doing and you get a lot of practice on yourself/classmates/clients. The instructors are beyond knowledgable and help you out in any way that they can. The school is super clean and organized. I even plan on taking my CIDESCO course. My only regret is not taking my basic esthetics course here. This school is 100% worth it.

I've been attending for over a year now receiving all kinds of treatments (facials, back facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, brown& lash tinting, etc). They are students giving you treatments, but they're well-taught and knowledgeable. Rated 5.0 I attended Esthetic Institute for Basic in April '17 and am now wrapping up the Master's program. I am so grateful for everything I have learned here. EI hires the BEST instructors and staff - all are extremely knowledgable and each brings something different to the table. I drive a little further to attend this school (as opposed to another school) but I've never had one moment of regret. These instructors feel like family and though I'm looking forward to having no commute in a few weeks, I'm truly going to miss the staff and friends that I've made here.
