Freestone Produce is a family owned produce wholesaler located in the heart of Northeast Calgary. Going on it’s 8th year serving the Calgary community (open since 2010), Freestone Produce is newer to the produce market but rapidly growing in recognition and rapport. Freestone Produce provides staple produce and unique grocery items to a wide variety of different food-based establishments, as well as local Calgarians, looking for an affordable price on quality produce. At Freestone Produce, we are looking to make connections with those in the industry. We are always looking for new vendors who are looking to distribute quality produce, from local to international. These networks and partnerships allow us to build a positive and prosperous relationship and, ultimately, help us to provide our customers with the best products available. We have the ability to sell high volumes of products in our facility, for our suppliers if they need relief of rejected and stressed product which allows us to move truck loads. Rated 5.0 I would like to start off saying I like it!!! This place is not for the people in search of best quality. Yes you have to be a little picky and choosy for what you get BUT you save soooo much here I believe it is worth it. I usually end up getting a few things in box to share with a friend or if its strawberries my kids down them so worth the buy. I cant find a better price any where else and believe me I looked!

Rated 5.0 They've just moved but parking is still an issue though better than it was. I always find great buys, you might have to throw some away but for the prices it's still worth it. (2 1.5lb bags of baby potatoes for $1, some are sprouting but if you have a garden you can throw the ones that are sprouted into your garden and grow some potatoes and eat the rest), produce changes all the time so it's not your one stop shop for everything but check it out and finish up your shopping at your regular grocery store.

Rated 5.0 Very small space with little shopping carts, had to wait 15 mins to get a cart. No staff to help and when you do find one they are pretty rude. We wanted to buy a box of strawberry but we found mold in 2 of the containers so we wanted to swap, the staff told us we have to buy as is...with the mold because there is no swapping on produce. Why would I want to spend $15 for a box of strawberry that has mold. Not worth going.
