Rated 1.0 They did not care that I felt my son was unsafe in PS.15 due to the security officers saying they drag kindergarten Children sometimes because of the neighborhood they live in is rough no one even gave me a complaint form to file or acknowledged what was said to be wrong I was told it doesn't matter I still have to enroll him I haven't yet I did an open enrollment form and I will exercise my right to keep my child safe since NO ONE in this district will assure he will be safe no phone call back from district office or Ps 15's principal a shame kindergarten is suppose to be a saf place staff members who admit to dragging 5 year olds saying "they are bad children rough children your child has to be tough to go here" issue not addressed just sad

Rated 1.0 While I like that some schools serve breakfast to the children in the morning I think the parents should be allowed to send breakfast for their children as long as it is a breakfast food. My problem is my son is a very, very, very picky eater and most of what the serve he does not eat so I would hope that the board could relay this to the principles of each school because there are a lot of children like my son who still will not have breakfast if they don't have time to eat before school and will not eat the school breakfast. Also my children school no longer allows a parent to bring their children lunch or lunch money if it is not brought to school with them in the morning. Everyone forgets something sometime or for other circumstances have to bring them lunch back to the school. I think this is very unfair to the parents and our children.

Rated 3.0 I am a NYS Law Enforcement Officer and I am highly offended by the statements made by this woman and to find out she is employed where she is in contact with young children is even more scary. Her thoughts and views are not what I think you want represented by one of your employees. She should be at very least suspended and or even fired for her comments and for not being a role model for her job and profession and the kids that she is in contact with bybtaking the side of a criminal and a killer who killed a innocent officer whos job is to respond to danger when she would run the other way. If she is able to continue to work for you that tells me your institution finds nothing wrong with her comments and find them acceptable.

Rated 5.0 Went to ps 8 from grade k-grade 8. Had a great opportunity to last a lifetime with Jersey CIty Joint Activities 2 day trip to Stokes State Forest. To this day I still remember the experience very clearly. Going to Liberty Science Center was great too, learned about the marshes and environment. What a great program!
