Jyotika Patel designs origantes from the founder of Fashion Point which first opened in 2003 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. The founder then moved to Dallas, Texas opening another branch there. Handling two stores on two different faces of the earth became more and more impossible each day, and so the boutique in Dar-es-Salaam was shut down in 2014. With demand increasing in Dallas, the founder, Jyotika Patel, started her own line of ethnic wear in late 2015 namely Jyotika Patel designs. With a tailoring house in Mumbai, India, expansion is just around the corner as the demand for pieces continue to rise. To be able to provide clients from all around the world, Jyotika Patel designs now has become an online store.
