About Manali Ruwala Gandhi Painting Academy

We believe art is very important for early childhood because it develops fine motor skills as well as cognitive development. We also believe that art helps emotional development in the child as well. Children are able to represent experiences that they cannot verbalize and thus increases their self-esteem and confidence. Our aim is for every child to bring out their uniqueness through painting. Art is meant to be creative and each individual has a unique way of expressing their art. By taking these classes not only will they enhance their artistic abilities but also they will connect and make new friends in the classroom. I have worked in the schools including preschool and elementary school and prior to that I have been a volunteer at schools at an early age as a tutor and a camp counselor. Have experience as a teacher in kid’s development, specifically in improvement of their fine motor skills through painting. In my class kids will paint, learn, and make friends. One class where kids will advance their skills in painting pastel, watercolor and acrylic (based on their skills level). BA in Spanish language and literature with 12+ years' of experience in educational and retail industry. I also have an associate degree in Nutrition and Health. I have taken certificate courses from Stanford University in Health and Nutrition for kids.
