Marudhani sarees is found for a reason - to introduce and sell Indian sarees to Indians and all saree lovers in the United States of America. Saree is a beautiful attire worn by Indian women on all occasions happy or emotional , cultural or rich , fun or sad events . Its a all time favorite for most Indian women which never went out of Fashion for the past 2000 years and more .It comes in newer fashion and in newer variety out to the market every festive season. Infact , I started this venture , when I couldn't buy a saree and ship it across to my home here in the United States on time , to wear on a festive Occasion A little history about sarees - A sari, saree or shari is a women’s garment from Indian Subcontinent that consists of a drape varying from 4.5 to 8 meters (5 to 9 yards) in length and 2 to 4 feet in breadth that is typically wrapped around the waist, with one end draped over the shoulder, baring the midriff. The sari is worn with a fitted bodice commonly called a blouse or choli (ravike in southern India) and a petticoat called parkar or ul-pavadai.
