About Paruli Designs

For as long as she can remember, Parul has been intrigued by fashion and jewellery, and their changing trends. She studied jewellery at George Brown College in Toronto and has taken her passion to the next level by designing and fabricating wearable art forms. Parul is well travelled and pulls inspiration from her love of ancient and modern design forms from different eras and cultures. In her jewellery, you may see elements from the Mediterranean and Turkish architecture or Greek mythology and traditions, or even the intricacies of ancient Indian jewellery incorporated into contemporary wearable pieces of art. She derives inspiration from the simplicity of nature around her and the complexities of animal and human bodies. Trained professionally as an Organic Chemist and Microbiologist, she led a rewarding career in the pharmaceutical industry and later pursued a career in hospitality, working at the Four Seasons Headquarters in Toronto. Both these careers paths incorporated in her, the values of understanding a client’s needs and creating for them, a quality product that they would enjoy wearing. It has been her life-long dream to tap into her creativity and bring her dream of being a goldsmith and jeweller to fruition. Jewellery at Pauli Designs is carefully handcrafted by Parul herself from the initial stages of designing to the final stages of finishing. She takes great pride in producing each piece of jewellery with one principle in mind – She must love it first!
