About Priyagrafix Studios

My name is Priya Mehta and I am a self-taught artist and an educator. I am a mother of two beautiful girls ages 15 and 11, who absolutely rule my world and a wife to a supportive husband who strongly encourages me to pursue my passion for arts and creativity. I often sit in my creative room for hours trying to come up with new ideas and lesson plans that I can teach my students. Art is my passion and I teach kids ages 5-15 and I equally enjoy seeing them proudly share their creations with the world. At its core, art is a calling, an urge for us to connect with and follow. There is immense satisfaction in making artistic creativity something we think about day and night, in building on it, to help find ways to realize our true selves. We all are bestowed with unique and extraordinary gifts that can lay hidden in absence of training and exposure. The blessing of discovering them -and using them to share happiness with others- is indescribable; it cannot be conveyed in words. It has to be experienced to be understood! I love to make my students discover the hidden artist in themselves. I offer art/craft themed birthday party services too- including cake decorating art.
