Hey!
How are you? I am writing to you, hoping to fill in a Copywriter's position at your firm. I moved to the Bay Area from India, a couple of years ago, and feel like I can bring something different from my experience in diverse markets as a writer and as an individual.
Just to give you a little background about my work, I have about 8 years of Copywriting & Content Writing experience across various multinational advertising agencies. I started out in traditional advertising developing ad campaigns for some of the most popular brands. My work mostly included TV commercials, print ads, radio spots, out-of-home media, in-store branding and packaging. Four years in, I realised that I wanted to explore a more personal, interactive way of communicating with my brand's consumer. Which is when I made the switch to digital advertising, a platform where I am able to engage in a dialogue with my audience, instead of just a monologue. I worked for agencies like Dentsu, Tribal DDB and Leo Burnett, before I went independent. I have worked for brands across categories like lifestyle, education, home organising, dance, food, and so on, ever since. I am currently handling a montessori school’s digital brand work.
I also recently started a blog on the good, bad and ugly of motherhood, with a funny twist.
Back in 2XXX, I wrote a book set against the backdrop of an Indian boarding school, based on a young boy and his challenging journey, from an awkward teenager to a fearless young man. This book was published on Kindle in the Young Adult fiction space.
As you can see, my love for writing isn't restricted to any single space or medium, and I hope to explore every impossible possibility if I'm given the opportunity to work with you guys.
If you think I'd be a good fit for the position, do reach out to me on 92X-9XX-XXX9.
Hope to hear from you again soon!
Thank you,
Tanvi
