About Roxy's Fine Stitchery

We are glad to be serving this wonderful community of Southwest Michigan for over 30 years. We alter dresses, wedding gowns, suits, Pants, Jackets and much more. We resize and make new curtains, duvet covers, pillows, sew zippers, patches, reline jackets and more. We are accommodative, creative and have expert seamstresses available to help fitted. No appointment necessary. Fitting rooms available, 3 way mirror available. We are conveniently located next to office max in Southland mall Portage MI. Girls and moms love our ideas and experience resolving their dress issues. There is no cost for the consultation, pricing or cancelling the order as long as work is not done. Appointments can be scheduled by calling us. We also schedule after hour appointments on special requests. We are conveniently located in Southland Mall, Portage MI, next to Office Max. All work is done on site by our expert seamstresses. We maintain a huge selection of thread colors, zippers and other notion supply.

Rated 5.0 I used to go to Roxy's to get my work pants taken in and hemmed. However, this past year, I have found that their accuracy has disappeared. I believe they are hiring people who do not know how to do measurements; they probably take out the pins and them estimate where they were. Of the 5 pairs of pants that I had them take in and/or hem, only 1 pair was done correctly. 2 were made too short (and I wore the shoes there that I was going to wear with the pants) by a full inch. The other 2 pairs I had taken in in the sides were taken in too much for me to button. 1 pair they said they would fix, but the others they said were my fault and said I would have to pay again to get fixed. Now I am stuck with pants I can't wear. I will try to find someone I know who can fix them for free since I had to pay a large amount to get them tailored at Roxy's already. I do not recommend them at all.
