About Rupen's Cooking Classes
Rupen's simplify Indian cuisine so that others may enjoy home-cooked, flavorful Indian food and benefit from my creations.I learned Indian cooking from my sole inspiration - My Mom. I was born in Mumbai, India and started cooking early on. Over the past decade, my interest in Indian cooking grew leaps and bounds. I now teach at Whole Foods in Washington, DC ( Logan and Silver Spring) and at Culinaerie (Recreational school in Washington, DC). I also teach private cooking lessons at the client's residence.

Rated 5.0 Amazing spice blends and great cookbooks! I HIGHLY recommend those spice blends. So fragrant and soooooo divine. Be sure to check him out in a class too. Very entertaining and his uncanny sense of humor puts everyone at ease hence making Indian cooking easy.

From our email exchanges planning our menu to his responsiveness to my questions regarding certain ingredients to his leading us in our hands-on cooking, Rupen was knowledgeable and delightful. I highly recommend this as a unique and thoughtful gift for yourself or family/friends who love cooking and Indian food!
