About Shamin Diamonds

Founded in 1982 by owner and founder, Shahraz Kassam, Shamin grew to become one of the most trusted jewelers in the city of Vancouver by 1990. Opening in Metro town, Surrey and Richmond in the 1990's Shamin became a household name for fine jeweler. In mid-1990's Shamin started closing the smaller stores and opened a Mega Jeweler Superstore called Shamin Galleria in Metro town Mall. It was the largest independent jeweler store in the Province. In 2007, Shamin moved out of the Metropolis Mall and opened across the street on Kingsway. In 2014, the Kingsway location was closed and now Shamin Diamonds is opening a new boutique style showroom in the very busy Payal Plaza in Surrey. Please note that Shahraz has been appointed to the Provincial Small Business Task Force and is away for provincial meetings throughout the month. Please call first just in case Shahraz is out of town.
