Celebrating over 18 years in the banquet business, Shangri-la has made a commitment to planning amazing events since 1997. Conveniently located in the heart of Markham, Shangri-la is just a 20 minute drive from downtown Toronto and minutes from highways 404 and 407. Our in-house Hall Coordinators will help create a cool and sophisticated environment for all of your events. We specialize in weddings, as well as any personal special events, corporate social events, and much more! This distinctive venue features indoor halls and outdoor facilities during the summer season. The lush, open-concept tropical patio is adorned by our expansive 10,000 square foot manicured lawn. Our establishment includes spacious, elegantly decorated rooms as well an outdoor patio which is flanked by a picturesque gazebo, colourful garden, and a path to our popular Garden Tent. Our rooms accommodate anywhere from 50 to 400 and guests and are bound to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of even the largest parties. Our expert staff provides a diverse East-meets-West in-house catering menu, with experienced servers guaranteeing your party runs smoothly.
