Founded by fashionistas and creative sisters Aparna and Ambika in Seattle, Shobitam is dedicated to making Indian ethnic wear affordable, elegant and available globally. We are powered by a passion for wearing good clothes, an interest in designing them, and a drive to make them available to all. A shop for a cause, our mission is to help people feel good, look good and do good. Our team works closely with weavers across India in designing unique collections and making a difference in their lives and popularizing lesser known and unique weaves. We sell those directly to customers through an online platform, offering beautiful selections with quality, prices and 5-star service! We realize that there is a growing need and desire among Indian women living outside India to catch up with the latest trends. We also believe that women deserve to wear fine high quality sarees and jewelry without breaking their bank accounts.So when our mom suggested 'Shobitam' as our brand name and our dad volunteered to help with the logistics, we didn’t see any reason to not pursue our dream.

I also got my blouse stitched by them but with very minimal design or with none you can say, they made sure the blouse looked gorgeous and did so many detailing to it. I am more than happy with my purchase and looking forward to buying more sarees in the future

Rated 5.0 The saree was okay but the custom blouse stitching was very poor , they have a very systematic online form for capturing the measurement but they stitched my blouse 1.5 inches shorter than the measurement I provided . So never get the custom stitch blouse ! They stitched the armholes and the blouse sleeve length 1 inch shorter too and these are such places which we cannot mend the length of the blouse , sleeve length and armholes were totally bad . Very poor stitching don’t waste your money in the custom stitching the blouse
