About Silk Route

At Silk Route, we believe, that while the saree’s chequered history has become hazy, it is still the most suitable garment for every traditional occasion. Our collection varies from Mysore silks, Handloom cotton, Tusser, Jute and Kalamkari, Konrad to name a few. We are planning to showcase some elegant, handcrafted sarees that have been produced on Indian handlooms, and mills. Do visit us for our exquisite collection. The saree is one of the world’s oldest and perhaps the only surviving unstitched garment from the past. Over the millennia, it not only has become a sensuous, glamorous all-time-wear for women, but also the ‘canvas’ for weavers and printers to create artistic weaves, prints and jewelled or gold-silver embellishments.

Rated 5.0 Excellent collection of sarees! Rashmi works directly with the weavers, so her sarees are of good quality and affordable price range. I am amazed at Rashmi's friendly nature and patience towards her patrons. She sincerely puts a lot of effort in creating a great collection. All my purchases were mailed in time and had no damage.
