Soignee Boutique After growing tired of overpaying for out of season styles, traveling out of state to get access to heavy wedding wear, and witnessing a lack of variety in south-asian bridal and party wear in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas, sisters Samreen and Farheen Khan decided it was time to take matters into their own hands. The idea of opening up a South-Asian boutique had been a thought for years, and the time was finally right to execute on their vision. Some may wonder, “Why a french name for a South-Asian boutique?” Easy. The word Soignée embodies the very aura of the company. The very definition of soignée reads: “Possessing an aura of sophistication in dress, manner, or design; presented or prepared with an elegance attained through care for the finer details.” The goal of this family-owned boutique is for every single client, whether a bride, groom, mother, father, nana or nani, to feel an unmatched sense of sophistication, elegance, and class.
