About Sugar Mama's Bakeshop

Sugar Mama's is deeply concerned for the well-being of all people, which is why all of our cocoa, coffee and sprinkles are fair trade. We're also doing our part to keep Austin green. Our cups are made from renewable, compostable materials. We're actively working towards creating a zero-waste environment, composting what would normally end up in a landfill and recycling everything that we possibly can. Despite our growth (thanks, Austin!), we've successfully reduced our waste by 75% so far, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve. We even use unbleached chlorine-free bakery boxes, because every little bit helps! Our mission is to provide our guests with unparalleled customer service and the freshest, most delicious baked goods around. Your mission is to try them all. Olivia and Steve O'Neal first dreamed up the concept for Sugar Mama's Bakeshop after realizing they had the perfect combination for a successful bakery: Olivia loved to bake and Steve loved to taste test. And so Sugar Mama's was born! Since then, we've proudly watched Sugar Mama's grow over the past few years with your support. We now employ 10 Austin residents, donate as much as we can to local charities, and generally try to spread a bit of cheer to our neighborhood and beyond. We hope you love eating our sweets as much as we love making them.
