As a student, you may have enjoyed a field trip to the Royal Bakery building for a tour of the bread bakery.In 1997, the Royal Bakery joined the National Register of Historic Places as part of Raleigh's unique and valuable history. Since the historic redevelopment of the Bakery in 2000, a variety of tenants now occupy over 28,000 sq. ft. of space. These include Ben & Jerry's, f8 Photo Studio, Brickhouse Sports Bar, Jasmine's, Halo Salon, Lucky Tree & The Royal Banquet Event & Conference Center.
