Vijayadhwani Music School kids are trained by Guru Smt. Vijayasri Chandrasekaran at North Brunswick, NJ. Mrs. Vijayasri is from Neyveli, TamilNadu, hailing from a family with a musical background. Gifted with a mellifluous, captivating voice, and abundant musical talent, Vijayasri started her training in Carnatic music at a very young age with her Aunt & Guru Smt. Trichy S. Premavathy, a performing vocalist and later trained under the tutelage of several gurus for more than 10 years. Her repertoire includes a wide variety of classical and light classical compositions – Krithis of Trinity of Carnatic Music, Swathi Thirunal, Tamil Krithis, Thillana and bhajans. She has special training & knowledge in Thevaram. Vijayasri is training the kids as well as adults to bring out their musical talents, concentrating on both the theory and the practice of Carnatic Music.
