There were many things we asked for that did not happen at my wedding. My father gave a playlist, and DJ Kash didn't play much of anything from the playlist - just some of the instrumentals. The list did include some dance tracks that he played but not many. He also didn't play the instrumental version of our entrance song and played it really late, we were already halfway into the entrance by the time it started playing. Furthermore, he welcomed everybody before my parents did, which upset them alot. Also, my dad asked not to have silences and to play low level background music at all times which also didn’t happen. He also only played a few of my husbands songs from his playlist. The songs he did choose were often inappropriate for my audience , with expletives. Low by Flo Rida was an example of this. For these reasons my husband and father were actively upset with the music during the reception. In addition, he was very slow to respond and didn't call my father back at all for example. He also charged 50$ per each remix of one piece of music and needed all the points where to mix the songs, so we made the mixes ourselves. I did try to relay this privately but got no response until this review. He did respond and apologize for the items mentioned, therefore I’ll update to 3 stars.

We used DJ Kash for our wedding sangeet a few weeks ago. He did an excellent job leading the mobile baraat and the sangeet itself too. Our wedding was Fusion – Indian/American, and Kash did a great job getting everyone out on the dance floor. Kash was professional, communicative, and kind from the day we first reached out, the weeks leading up to the event, the event itself, and even the days following. He executed our detailed timeline very well. We would recommend Kash for future events, especially Indian/American ones.

I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

We had this lovely couple perform at my sisters pre wedding ceremony a year ago and loved their live singing so much we called them back for the baby shower event. Aparna and Vinay’s vocals go very well together.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

We had invited the group “Mehekte Sur” for my in-laws 50th marriage anniversary celebrations. Husband wife duo were fantastic singers. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. They were amazing at engaging the guests, by making it fun and interactive function. All the seniors got on the dance floor and it was really special and we made some amazing memories. I was looking for a singer for my anniversary party. I came across many singers but Parkash sounds good very good. So I hired him he was there on time and song till late. This was our first time seeing Mr. Prakash performing. What an incredible entertainer and singer! It was just a regular Wednesday night dinner with my husband, still celebrating our anniversary. We made reservations at Clover 12, and was amazed that they had Mr Prakash singing that evening. His voice and the songs just take you back to the good old days of Bollywood movies. I will rate him 09. He started with Ganesh Stuti, A Malik Tere bade him prarthna, and all songs he sang were so good I could see audience like mesmerized, all listened very silently. This crew was incredible! We’d recommend them to absolutely anyone. They had the dance floor going all night and went above and beyond what we could have expected. This team was more than just a vendor for us; by the end of the weekend, they were like family and were a truly unforgettable part of our wedding. We hired them for our two day Indian wedding in Leesburg, VA, including DJ’ing, MC’ing, lighting, and a dholi for both days. We had three meetings with them before the wedding where we talked through our timeline, our specific music selections, and what genres of music we wanted for the dance floor. They were very thorough, and even though a few songs we discussed didn’t get played, they covered pretty much everything we asked for. The booking process was also very straightforward and flexible. They were really responsive and made suggestions based on their experience but were clearly not trying to upsell us when doing so. They also have a ton of experience with White’s Ferry Manor, the venue where we had our ceremony and reception. What really went above and beyond was the presence and energy this crew brought to our wedding, especially DJ Shiv! Shiv was on the phone with us at 2am the night before our wedding after our decorator cancelled on us. He and DJ Sameer helped us find another decorator in the middle of the night, just hours before decoration set up was supposed to begin. If you’re reading this review and considering ShiVish, you will be so happy with choosing them.

Plain and simple ShiVish Entertainment was amazing at our two-day wedding. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park... Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. He had us dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi music all night and mixed in some top-40 as well. He knew exactly what would get everyone, from kiddos to aunties and uncles going crazy on the dance floor. Day Two – a modern American wedding vibe with an Afghan flare. DJ Shiv came in just as good as his brother the previous day. He seamlessly started out the night playing some of my family's favorite Afghan songs and then switched gears to Top-40 hits, hip-hop, and house bangers. He rocked it. His infectious energy, his ability to connect with the crowd – it was like having a close friend leading the festivities. We mixed Bollywood, Afghan, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and Top-40 and they made it sound amazing. With DJs who are basically musical geniuses and an emcee who's a party starter extraordinaire, they turned our wedding into a rollercoaster of love and laughter I promise you won't regret going with them. We were so impressed with the work of Vish at our wedding and reception. They truly helped make the reception a night to remember. From the moment we met them, we knew they were the perfect fit for our wedding. We had heard from others that this team was great to work with and decided to go with them after multiple recommendations. Vish was able to read the crowd and play the perfect music for everyone to enjoy. They were able to keep the dance floor packed all night and even got our guests who don't normally dance up and moving. They were also able to take our requests and incorporate them into the playlist seamlessly. We hired ShiVish Ent for some of our pre wedding events and the main event, and reception. They did a phenomenal job in keeping the crowd engaged and constantly pumped up for the dance floor, and were awesome MCs as well. The music was really mixed and they are great at reading the room and adjusting the music accordingly. They are responsive, invilved throughout the process and helped us mix songs as well prior to the events. Everything was smooth and organized, they are such a wonderful team and truly fun people to work with. They did a great job with the up lighting and fog machine to make our first dance very special. Shivish Entertainment is so easy to work with! We had our sangeet, baraat and ceremony dj services through them. The sangeet was absolutely amazing, the emcee was phenomenal and the music was perfect. Also the uplighting really added to the entire ambience on the event. Everything came out exactly like i wanted it to and it was super easy to communicate with them during the entire event. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the baraat, everything went well with that too! All our guests had so much fun and the dhol player was a total hit. They set up everything for the ceremony on time and were there promptly without needing anything from me day of. Overall, everything was great and I would definitely recommend Shivish Entertainment to other friends & family. You all were very flexible and easy to work with and the communication was quick. Vish and Riju did a great job at our wedding events! Vish dj’d and Riju mc’d both nights - they really got the crowd into every aspect of the night and kept the energy going! They were professional and graciously adjusted for last minute requests. I received many compliments on the dj and mc from my guests - I definitely recommend these two!!

Had an amazing experience with ShiVish Entertainment recently. DJ Vish and MC Riju provided the entertainment at my cousin's graduation party recently and they did a phenomenal job. ShiVish Ent was a great team to work with for our wedding events! They were responsive and professional throughout the process. We were particular in looking for a DJ that could play a decent mix of Telugu/South Indian songs as well as the usual Bollywood and western songs, and DJ Vish delivered. It rained during the groom's baraat, but the team did their best to accommodate. The MC was really great. The add-ons we had like sparklers, fog machine, and up-lights tied the whole event together.

ShiVish Entertainment (DJ Vish and MC Riju) was incredible at our wedding! DJ Vish met with us ahead of time to understand what type of music and vibe we wanted for the night and he absolutely nailed it at the reception. MC Riju was the total hypeman of the night and got our crowd on their feet and excited throughout the entire reception. Our guests are still talking about how much fun our reception was and DJ Vish and MC Riju played a huge part in making that happen. They had people from 20 years old to 70 years old on the dance floor all night long and had the whole place singing and dancing along. They were professional, brought the party, and truly wanted to make our wedding reception special and memorable. Can't recommend them enough!

Dj ShiVish’s team of Rahull and Bosh and especially host Riju make an absolutely incredible team—from the first point of connection they were responsive, professional and prepared. Our family could upload music interests could easily upload music on their website and they also worked with us for editing certain traditional songs. From throwback jams to current artists- great mix and clean! My family is already looking forward to scheduling another event just so we can have them as DJ and Rohit as MC. He is the one of the best out there to bring a party to life. Their dhol player Arshdip was also crazy good in both the Bahrat and wedding reception, and the team also accommodated coordination of a silent disco setup which I purchased with a different vendor. The music selections and flow were all perfect- we danced all night! #everybodyroar!

Salman did an excellent job and kept us dancing all night. We couldn't stand on our legs next day. Salman was timely, professional, very courteous, and above all, a great human being.
