About Anahata Yoga

Anahata I started learning yoga at age 14 with yoga vidya niketan in mumbai. today I am a certified yoga instructor and teach yoga sessions that include postures and breathing techniques. I also teach meditation. I follow the book of B.K.S Iyengar on a personal note I have a masters in exercise physiology and sports nutrition. i have a background in nutritional sciences and I work as a consultant nutritionist dietitian. The combination of exercise and nutrition training along with training in the art and science of yoga has helped me understand the physiology, anatomy and philosophy of yoga, its benefits on our mind, body and soul. I hope I can kindle the light in your souls by passing on what I have learnt and let the light in me guide the light in you and help you achieve overall wellness in your lives. Anahata yoga was started in august 2013. Anahata in sanskrit means unhurt or unbeaten. Anahata yoga is a form of yoga focusing in opening of this heart chakra. Anahata chakra also refers to the fourth chakra at the heart center which symbolizes love, selflessness and devotion". It refers to the unstruck sound of the celestial realm in vedic concepts. I hope I can share these calm serene feelings with you and it multiplies from there on.
