Arthaa’s mission is inspired by the need and for the purpose of generating a sustainable livelihood for women in low-income communities. We generate wealth to promote sustainable livelihood among underprivileged women. Smitha Balakrishnan is the owner of this business, She was born, raised and educated in South India. After getting her degree in economics and an MBA in finance, she worked in banking and techno-functional projects for 10 years. She moved to the Bay Area in 2007 after marriage. Her most recent work experience with a community credit union created her vision to work with women in low-income communities. For more details contact us.
