Atulya Singh
Atulya Singh comes from a small town based in the heart of North India, where love and respect for food were one of the pillars of family education. He got early culinary inspiration from his Grandmother, who has been an excellent cook with great imagination. He spent most of his time in her kitchen where she was constantly cooking up delicious meals and teaching all her family recipes of authentic Indian Food. He was inspired by how food can beautifully narrate a story and convey cultural ideas. He pursued his passion through a degree in Hotel Management and further honed his skills at the reputed Culinary Academy in India, Hyderabad, ( One of the 10 best Academies of the world ), under the mentorship of Chef Sudhakar Rao and the guidance of renowned faculties of the Academy. I am one of the most distinguished Restaurants in Sunnyvale, CA. I specialize in Coffee Shops, North Indian Restaurants, South Indian Restaurants, and Vegetarian Restaurants.
Rated 5.0 We had them cater a lunch at a local park. Our guests raved about the food because it was both delicious and plentiful. Even though we had 45 people, they were quick about serving everyone and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The goat was a big hit with people who had never tried it. My favorite was the spinach appetizer. We would definitely consider using them again.
Rated 5.0 Chef Atul is one of the best chefs I have come across.... I am so glad that he finally started his own venture. Do try and I promise that you won't be disappointed.
Rated 5.0 Authentic Indian Food with lots of flavors, deliciousness and yumminess!I and my husband are Bay Area foodies so when I randomly saw an Indian Food Truck I was like I gotta get some! I am so glad I did! I talked to the team on the truck and to their chef. Very friendly and knowledgeable about authentic Indian food!
Rated 5.0 I was sad to see the old food truck go since I live nearby and go there every once in a while. However, since this food truck opened probably a few weeks ago, I've already been there three times. And have been sad on Mondays when they've been closed. What's different about this food truck compared to the previous one at this location is that they have both non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes. And what's different about this restaurant food compared to other restaurants, is the authenticity of the taste. The dish that I like most of the handi chicken. Somehow, the flavor combination reminds me of eating home cooked chicken or lamb in India. It's just spicy enough but not too spicy that little ones can't eat it. However for those who like milder flavors, their paneer is super delicious. The sauce is just the right amount of creamy without being heavy and the cashew flavor is clear. The combos are very convenient since they include rice, entrée, paratha, salad and Raita. In addition to these two dishes, we've also tried the goat, samosa chaat, the mango lassi and the ras malai. These are all tasty, and I can't wait to try the rest of the dishes on the menu. Finally, I really love how they pack their food. You'll see in the picture, that everything is nicely packed and very sturdy containers. Can't wait to be back!
Rated 5.0 Chef Atulya has done the impossible!! Brought back memories of my trips to North India and savoring dishes cooked at the houses of my friends and family by re-creating those exact flavors and tastes at The Atulya Bharat Food Truck!
