If you are driving thru Rappahannock, be super careful. They hand out reckless driving tickets like it is candy. I drove out there to visit a friend and I got charged with a reckless driving ticket. It was for a 84/55. I called a bunch of lawyers and read the reviews and I picked Sris to help me out. He did a great job. He got it knocked down to a no point offense and I had to only pay a fine. Sris helped me with my custody case, even when it looked as if I had nothing to stand on. Sris took every scenario and incident I gave him and looked at it 15 different ways with just as many outcomes and how to handle them. He does have a “to the point” demeanor as he will not waste your time but he is a very genuine person and if he takes your case, he cares. If you are serious about your case, it would be wise to at least get a consultation so you can see for yourself what he is about; you will be impressed. He is my go to lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a superior counselor to litigate on their behalf.

In August, I found myself speed trapped on a highway in VA. This road (highway) had a speed limit of 55pmh and dropped to 35 mph for the last mile. I was on Lee highway and assumed the speed limit was 65mph or 70mph (as posted often in VA and it being a HIGHWAY and all) but I was wrong. When I initially got pulled over, I thought it was for not signaling in a left only turn lane. I didn’t think I was at all speeding. Turns out I was, and the ticket would be for reckless driving which in Virginia is a Class I misdemeanor. The fines and severity of reckless driving in the state of Virginia are $2500 max fine, 6 months loss of license and up to 1 year in jail. (Yes, up to 1 year in jail). I am from NJ, we have reckless too and it is a moving violation that has consequences, but jail is not one of them. When I found this out I was very nervous and very frustrated. I could tell my instance or situation was severe because the officer, however polite or moderately polite, was very angry at my speed. Regardless of my situation or story, I was clocked doing 74 in a 35. That time of moving violation comes with a heavy price. My experience with SRIS is not but the best. I have been in the legal industry for 21 years and until now I have found myself in a brutal divorce. On the route I drove into Virginia there was no warning that going over 80mph (just 10mph over the speed limit) was considered reckless but that is what I was charged with. Mr. SRIS was instrumental in reducing my reckless driving charge.
