She let me pick my own music, brought me and my friend coffee, and took her time to make sure I got the best results! It was such a blast spending the day with her & I can’t wait to use her other services soon!! After several months of not taking care of my hair in quarantine and too long between treatments, I finally went in to see Shruti and had the Japanese Straightener touch up done. I had no idea how far gone my hair was (a botched highlight attempt at a salon had fried it beyond belief) until she walked me through what she would need to do to get it back to a healthy state, along with the treatment. She was knowledgeable and meticulous. The end result is a healthy head of hair that I can run my hands through and is so soft and shiny! I drove 1.5 hours to get to Shruti’s Bridal Salon and let me tell you, it’s worth it to drive twice that to bring your hair back to life like she did mine. Thank you Shruti for giving me my shiny healthy hair back!

Shruti is an awesome beautician and cares for her customers. She puts all her heart in her work. I also was doing hair color at home myself for years with various brands and shades. She did a great job to make all my hair a single color. Now I can age gracefully. I loved all services I received and can recommend her for all your needs.

Shruti is very accommodating and full service. She was able to do back to back days of events for me somewhat last minute with party makeup and hair and almost Bridal makeup and hair the next day. She was very good at listening to what I wanted and didn’t want. She made me feel comfortable to voice out any changes I wanted. She did great blended makeup and contouring. Her makeup and brushes were clean and hygienic. She helped me choose the right hairstyles to go with each day. Overall, a great experience, highly recommend. Shruti was very patient and worked on my hair for 5 hours. I have been to different salons and very few times I got the result I wanted, but this time the result is as I wished for so far. I washed my hair after 3 days and it is still pretty straight.

I traveled all the way from Maryland to Virginia, it was completely worth it. I had a Japanese hair treatment done, and I waited to take a shower and see if the straightness lasts afterwards, and surprisingly it did. She was kind, patient, friendly, and passionate. After several months of not taking care of my hair in quarantine and too long between treatments, I finally went in to see Shruti and had the Japanese Straightener touch up done. I had no idea how far gone my hair was (a botched highlight attempt at a salon had fried it beyond belief) until she walked me through what she would need to do to get it back to a healthy state, along with the treatment. She was knowledgeable and meticulous. The end result is a healthy head of hair that I can run my hands through and is so soft and shiny! I drove 1.5 hours to get to Shruti’s Bridal Salon and let me tell you, it’s worth it to drive twice that to bring your hair back to life like she did mine. I had the Japanese thermal straightening done by Shruti and wow, my hair still looks great! Before, my hair was unruly, frizzy, damaged, broom-like, and poofy from over washing it, curling irons, and flat irons. It really has been a life changing experience since. My hair looks nice and straight and so much more manageable. Shruti told me what was happening every step of the way and her friendly personality made the process time fly by! Now, I can just shampoo my hair and blow dry in 5 minutes and it is straight and healthy looking. I stopped using heat styling tools all together. Vijay on the fly made earring support chains for me, which helped my ears and earrings last throughout the wedding and reception. my Indian mother-in-law was thrilled with everything. hiring Vijay was one of the best things i did for my wedding. my makeup was flawless and stayed that way all night!

Her hair dresser savi is equally great and was able to replicate exactly wat i asked at the hair trial . She did hair for four people together at the wedding and did a wonderful job . She has an extremely pleasing personality and is always open to suggestions.

I was very anxious about having my wedding make up done, rather than doing it myself – but unlike make up artists I’ve met in the past , Shruti really listened to what I wanted, and created an enhanced and long-lasting version of what I usually wear, which was perfect. Shruti did my hair and makeup for my wedding this month, and would 100% recommend her to any bride. Her style is very natural, which worked perfectly for me as didn't want to be caked in makeup and hairspray, whilst still managing to create a look which stayed put all day. The morning of she was very relaxed, and kept me and the bridesmaids all on track so we could get out the door on time. Would definitely recommend doing a trial beforehand, it was really good value for money. I did loads of research on Virginia-based hair and makeup stylists before deciding on Shruti’s Salon, and I am so happy with my choice!

I flew all the way from Florida to get my Japanese straightening done from Shruti’s Salon. This was my 3rd time Straightening with Shruti’s Salon. My curly hair now looks so Amazing - straight -,silky and protein rich - healthy hair. She is so well experienced , since 20+ years. I don't usually wear makeup so was rather nervous at the beginning of my trial. But Shruti was professional, patient, reassuring and extremely friendly which calmed my nerves immediately. In Trial, She had spent time discussing ideas with me and tested a few options to ensure I was happy with the result. We kept in contact in the the months running up to the wedding and she gave me really useful tips on how to prepare for the big day.
