I went to Shruti’s for Japanese Hair Straightening, and I am completely blown away by my results! My hair looks fantastic!! My hair is not easy as it is super thick and took over 7 hours to complete, but Shruti was so pleasant during the whole experience. She let me pick my own music, brought me and my friend coffee, and took her time to make sure I got the best results! It was such a blast spending the day with her & I can’t wait to use her other services soon!! Also my Friend got a henna tattoo while there and it turned out just like the google picture so I highly recommend her for that as well! ?? Thank you Shruti for everything!!!! ??

I’ve been looking for someone to do waxing for some time. While some salons offer waxing they don’t have a personal touch. I found Vanity Room Esthetics LLC on a Facebook ad I called and made an appointment with Madison. She was very professional and discrete. She now offers other services and looking forward to my facial this week!

I can't say enough good things about Madison & Vanity Room Esthetics. While many salons offer waxing and facials - they do not offer the personal touch like Madison does nor have the skill like Madison. I have never felt so comfortable and at ease- almost like hanging out with one of your fave gal pals! Her studio is super clean and cozy. I highly reccomend checking Madison out and pampering yourself!

What an experience! This was my very 1st Brazilian wax. I went in with so much anxiety- I was scared to death! Madison talked with me and brought me out of my fright is flight mode! I won't tell you it didn't hurt cuz man, it hurt, but only for a moment. Madison talked with me the whole time. She distracted me just enough to where it didn't hurt at all when we were finished. She was professional on a personal level. Knowledgeable about her craft and generally just really nice to speak with. I’m obsessed with my Brow Tint service by Madison! My eyebrows were barely visible due to extreme plucking in the 90s. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but my light & limited eyebrows always bothered me. Now, waking up each day to a finished look, with no effort on my part, is fabulous! Eyebrow Lamination may be next! Beautiful studio & sweet, personable service, too.

My friend referred Vanity room to me, she HIGHLY recommended I try her out for 2 reasons, 1-she was really good and 2-she was affordable. I am currently on vacation and realized I was a little too rough looking for the pool (IYKYK). I was super pleased to find Madison AND she had next day availability. Super easy to book online. The space is so cute. I had no issues with parking. I felt comfortable and had a great experience. I usually get sugar wax done back home, and it has been a while since I used hard wax - but honestly it was so gentle and obviously I was in expert hands. I would post pics of the job well done, but I don't need to be banned from Google ;) Definitely would recommend!
I had a wonderful experience! I did have to cancel one of my scheduled services at the last minute, and I honestly felt terrible about it. She was incredibly understanding and gracious, even though I know that as a small business owner, every appointment and every bit of revenue matters. I definitely don't recommend doing what I did because I know it impacts her time and business. Even with that, I still had three other services done during my visit, and every one of them was phenomenal. She was professional, made me feel comfortable, paid great attention to detail, and the results were amazing. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and the quality of her work. I'll absolutely be back and highly recommend supporting her business!
I have had two Brazilians with Madison, and they both went so smoothly! She is so friendly and easy to converse with! She gets the job done quickly, while also making sure it is done correctly. There is also a cozy waiting room if you show up a few minutes early. If you’ve never had a Brazilian, and you’re worried about the pain like I was, her encouraging words definitely help you get through it! After your first one, the next one will be cake!

I went to Shruti’s for Japanese Hair Straightening, and I am completely blown away by my results! My hair looks fantastic!! My hair is not easy as it is super thick and took over 7 hours to complete, but Shruti was so pleasant during the whole experience. She let me pick my own music, brought me and my friend coffee, and took her time to make sure I got the best results! It was such a blast spending the day with her & I can’t wait to use her other services soon!! Also my Friend got a henna tattoo while there and it turned out just like the google picture so I highly recommend her for that as well! ?? Thank you Shruti for everything!!!! ??

I went to Shruti’s for Japanese Hair Straightening, and I am completely blown away by my results! My hair looks fantastic!! My hair is not easy as it is super thick and took over 7 hours to complete, but Shruti was so pleasant during the whole experience. She let me pick my own music, brought me and my friend coffee, and took her time to make sure I got the best results! It was such a blast spending the day with her & I can’t wait to use her other services soon!! Relaxing hair spa with ozone treatment and a nice multi layered haircut
I recently got married and Shruti did my henna, hair, makeup, and saree draping on wedding day. She has various bridal packages and she works to customize based on clients needs. I am South Indian and she helped create the South Indian bridal look I wanted. I was very stressed the week leading up to the wedding and even on wedding day and she politely reminded me to breath and encouraged me not to stress too much. She was very patient with me and I appreciate that. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and loved the makeup and hair services from Shruti. She also did my family’s hair and makeup and they looked beautiful! I recommend Shruti’s Salon for weddings and private events.

I went to Shruti’s for Japanese Hair Straightening, and I am completely blown away by my results! My hair looks fantastic!! My hair is not easy as it is super thick and took over 7 hours to complete, but Shruti was so pleasant during the whole experience. She let me pick my own music, brought me and my friend coffee, and took her time to make sure I got the best results! It was such a blast spending the day with her & I can’t wait to use her other services soon!! After several months of not taking care of my hair in quarantine and too long between treatments, I finally went in to see Shruti and had the Japanese Straightener touch up done. I had no idea how far gone my hair was (a botched highlight attempt at a salon had fried it beyond belief) until she walked me through what she would need to do to get it back to a healthy state, along with the treatment. She was knowledgeable and meticulous. The end result is a healthy head of hair that I can run my hands through and is so soft and shiny! I drove 1.5 hours to get to Shruti’s Bridal Salon and let me tell you, it’s worth it to drive twice that to bring your hair back to life like she did mine. Thank you Shruti for giving me my shiny healthy hair back!

Shruti was very patient and worked on my hair for 5 hours. I have been to different salons and very few times I got the result I wanted, but this time the result is as I wished for so far. I washed my hair after 3 days and it is still pretty straight.
I traveled all the way from Maryland to Virginia, it was completely worth it. I had a Japanese hair treatment done, and I waited to take a shower and see if the straightness lasts afterwards, and surprisingly it did. She was kind, patient, friendly, and passionate. To sum everything up, she knows what she is doing.

I had the Japanese thermal straightening done by Shruti and wow, my hair still looks great! Before, my hair was unruly, frizzy, damaged, broom-like, and poofy from over washing it, curling irons, and flat irons. It really has been a life changing experience since. My hair looks nice and straight and so much more manageable. Shruti told me what was happening every step of the way and her friendly personality made the process time fly by! Now, I can just shampoo my hair and blow dry in 5 minutes and it is straight and healthy looking. I stopped using heat styling tools all together. I have already recommended Shruti to all my friends and I am so pleased I travelled from California to Virginia just to get this treatment done by Shruti. Very clean, hygienic and fully disinfected salon reassured me. Highly recommended!!

Normally my makeup comes off pretty quickly, and I have oily skin, but it stayed on ALL day and night, She did my makeup around 10:30 in the morning and it stayed on all night...Bottom line, she did amazing, and if I need my makeup done again, I'll definitely use her. I cannot emphasize enough how magical Vijay made my wedding day. I am not someone who enjoys being the center of attention, but she made me feel beautiful, made my hair look gorgeous, made my makeup look natural but flawless for photography, draped my saree like no one has ever done before. Although I hesitated at times, in the end I was glad I had put my full trust in her, because she knew much better than I do what would be best for my wedding day. WOW! What an amazing experience! I went to Vijay's house for the very first time this last past Friday, or on November 17th. It was nothing short of LUXURY! 1 HR of relaxation and TLC!!! I was so impressed with her comprehensive treatments. She gave me an exfoliant, mask, steam, extraction for white heads, face moisturizer, moisturizing hand mittens, and everything was warmed up beforehand even the cleansers! I was SO RELAXED! I left not even wanting to put my music on. I just wanted the peace that I felt when leaving her establishment. My skin also looks better since my first session with her. Not to mention, she is VERY AFFORDABLE. $70 for one hour and I got sooo much. I left a decent tip because it was well deserved. Book a visit SOON!
I already knew she would be amazing because she was my mother's hair and MUA for my Sikh wedding and did a phenomenal job not only on the day, but had given her Both a trial run for the makeup along with a facial for preparing for the big day. To say it simple: My mother was glowing on my big day and looked absolutely stunning. I vowed I'd make sure I went to see aunty at some point to make sure I got the same facial my mom did - and finally got my chance today. What an amazing experience. Vijay Seoni only uses quality products - and her technique is immaculate. I'm not too sure how two hours passed but she made everything so comfortable and at ease. She walks you through each step - every product she uses - what they are intended to do - and the best part was watching her take the time to analyze your skin to make sure the routine she does is catered to your issues and needs. She has specific products for every skin type, and takes the added time to really explain what you're getting done, and also takes the time to explain how you can continue a good skin regime (whether it's with or without the products she uses). I can honestly say my skin feels beyond flawless, I can't remember the last time it felt this smooth and clean. She also did the vitamin c infusion for my skin - and I can't believe the difference it made. I am beyond impressed by her work, and more impressed with her hospitality and how at ease she made me feel when I walked in unsure of what to expect. You cannot find quality work better priced - I guarantee you this much. Getting to work with Vijay aunty was wonderful! She styled me for a dance performance and I was so happy with the results! I sent her a few photos of the look I was envisioning and she executed it so beautifully on the day of the performance. I have had Clear and Brilliant done on my face five times now from Laser Away. The first three times were at Laser Away in Arlington and I was happy with the first two people who did my laser treatment but not happy at all with the third time. The third time I went the girl did a really bad job because I had absolutely not one bit of redness on my face and she flew through the procedure in about 5 minutes. Since I still had three more treatments left because I purchased a package of 6 I felt I needed to switch locations. I switched to the Ashburn location hoping to find someone to do it well. I am so incredibly happy that I did switch because I got Scarleth to do my Clear and Brilliant. She is absolutely amazing and by far did the best out of the four different people who have done my Clear and Brilliant laser treatment. She is very thorough and makes sure she does a great job. The ladies at the front desk were also super sweet and very helpful when I enquired about the products they sold. They were also very informative and my whole experience at the Ashburn Location has been wonderful.
Since my last laser hair removal appointment, this Laser Away location in Ashburn (right across from Lululemon in One Loudoun) has definitely stepped it up! The treatments still sting a little, especially on sensitive areas like the brazilian, but I'm starting to get used to them and they definitely don't hurt any more than waxing. Plus, my leg/brazilian hair is starting to come in patchy which is a great sign! Laser Away as a company is amazing. They're clearly well established as they are wonderful at sending communication and reminders about upcoming appointments- they always call/text a few days before to confirm. They also hire and train all the staff to be extremely kind and friendly- I'm always offered a coffee or water after checking in and am received by big smiles, which really makes my day. Overall, choosing Laser Away for my hair removal was the best decision- I'd highly recommend!!

I was recommended to LaserAway for Xeomin from a friend of mine and I'm so glad she did! I went to the website, put in my information and immediately got a call to discuss my desires and options. The appointment was booked for the next 2 days within a few minutes of a straightforward and well described process. I arrived 15 minutes early. I'm terrible with names, but the super friendly Clinic Director was at the front desk. The clinic is bright, beautiful and super clean. I was checked in, and within 10 minutes I was taken to the back to start the process. The Xeomin professional who took me back answered all my questions with professionalism and kindness. The full process took maybe 20 minutes. I was told the final results would take up to 2 weeks. I am looking forward to going back!
First time getting lip fillers. I decided on Revannesse after my consultation. I am told it lasts a little longer. I was very nervous but so happy with the outcome! She was more of a friend than a service provider from day one . I am so happy I called her to confirm just in time because she had an inquiry for hair and make up for 12 people on same day . It was very impressive that she gave me the preference and not a bigger business since I called her first . Not only is she passionate about her job and goes above and beyond to make it her best effort but also does an excellent job of realizing it is such an important occassion for the bride and takes away all your worries about hair and make up . I never had any doubts and was rest assured on this front and boy it was a blessing as I had too many things on my plate . I did have my trial and vijay aunty was still exploring some new products after, which she thought might be more suitable for my dry skin . I have rosacea and she was well aware of the condition and helped me take care of it till the wedding . She did give me a brief second trial with a new product she thought might work better for my skin. Her facial session was also very relaxing . She was so kind to stop by my house two days before the wedding to give me some exfoliating cleanser.She also helped me with some of the wedding planning too .most importantly she helped me keep calm and really enjoy the hair and make up process . Her hair dresser savi is equally great and was able to replicate exactly wat i asked at the hair trial . She did hair for four people together at the wedding and did a wonderful job . She has an extremely pleasing personality and is always open to suggestions.

Getting to work with Vijay aunty was wonderful! She styled me for a dance performance and I was so happy with the results! I had a traditional South Indian wedding, and my makeup matched very well with my outfit and the occasion. I am not a big makeup person - I wanted something that looked elegant in pictures, and Vijay Aunty totally delivered. I couldn't have been more happier with my bridal makeup and I felt beautiful on my wedding day ! I received tons of compliments on the makeup - the best part was when the wedding photographer exclaimed that this is probably one of the best makeup jobs she has ever seen ! I highly recommend Vijay Seoni for your wedding day makeup needs. Quality comes at a price, which I learned the hard way through a makeup trial with a different artist. Although I was a bit hesitant with the price I was extremely happy with my makeup trail with Facial Boutique Inc. I had Vijay do make up for me and all my seven bridesmaids. Speaking of which I would recommend planning your makeup schedule with multiple extra hours if you have one artist doing multiple bridesmaids - your friends will take up a lot of time and don't necessarily save the bride for last. Lastly I also appreciated how Vijay helped me with my overall skincare prior to the wedding.
Vijay and Savie were very friendly, accommodating and professional. The trial was really fun and they both did a great job the day of. The makeup did end up feeling a bit rushed at the end, even though we started early, and I felt a little bit like there was too much makeup. But everyone else thought I looked beautiful, and I have to admit I did look great in the photos.

She did with down hairdo and the Hi-defination makeup coverage that made me look natural but finished, as well as eyelash extensions which I had never done before- it was my dream look and looked the best for my face. It was a lot of fun to get my hair straightened through the Japanese straightening method with Shruti. She took the time to explain the process to me, the after care that is needed. She also took time and did a thorough job and did not overlook any details. Yes the services are done in her basement in an insulated garage. She had the heater on and I did not feel uncomfortable. WEDDING HAIR- MAKE-UP : Shruti is amazing!! She did my Hair & Makeup for my wedding in November, and it was great! I couldn't be happier. Normally my makeup comes off pretty quickly, and I have oily skin, but it stayed on ALL day and night, and when I say all day and night I mean it. She did my makeup around 10:30 in the morning and it stayed on all night...Bottom line, she did amazing, and if I need my makeup done again, I'll definitely use her. She did very nice Updo style for my hair using beautiful Diamond jewellery. She also does amazing hair style for my 5 Bridesmaids and we definitely go to her all time for hair-make-up.
Went to shruti for Japanese hair straightening for first time to be honest i was scared because my hair dresser was out of country and i really need to get it done. But i am so happy now that i went to her she did a great job specially she use good amount of products that usually salon people try to use little by little or i would say they try to be cheap to save their products. The sari blouse of best friend wasn't sewn properly and she happened to have a kit to remove stitches and resew the hem. She also helped with my hair when it needed a fix. She was truly amazing and helped create a perfect look for my wedding. She can also do both Indian and Western style make up equally well.
I highly recommend Facial Boutique for wedding hair and makeup. Vijay Seoni, the owner, does the makeup herself and works with a hairdresser, Savie. Both are excellent at their jobs, and very easy to work with. They were incredibly kind and patient, which made such a difference dealing with the stress of the wedding day. I got bridal hair and makeup, and several of the women in my family and my husband's family got their hair and makeup done as well. Everyone thought they did a fantastic job. Personally, I don't know a lot about hair and makeup, so it was great to have Vijay's expertise. She was always open to my feedback and ideas, but found ways to make them even better.

Ms Vijay did a great job on my makeup for my wedding and Ms Savie did a wonderful job as well for hair for myself, and two family members. The makeup and hair lasted all throughout the event which I was very happy about. Both were very attentive to what I liked and didn't like (from the trial run) to make necessary adjustments for the wedding day. My only complaint is that on the wedding day, the makeup took longer than expected which prevented me from taking some key portrait shots with my family.
My wedding was a traditional indian wedding. Vijay Seoni did a fabulous job with all of my preparation, including hair, make up, arranging my jewelery and saari. My make up was the highlight - she had a great collection of products for all skin types, and many options to choose from. She was mindful of my preferences, style and comfort. The make up was natural appearing but also looked fantastic in photography. I required no touch ups for our day-long event! Most of all, I felt beautiful on my wedding day and would not have looked any differently!!!I would definately recommend her services and look forward to working with her again!
Vijay was an excellent person to work with for hair and makeup services for our wedding reception. She is very talented and dedicated and wants you to look perfect for your special event. She takes time to get the details right, so make sure you plan a good amount of time for the makeup (don't try to squeeze it into a tight schedule), so she can work her magic. She also offers a free trial of makeup at her home studio upon paying the deposit. I opted to do hair and makeup through her, but she does not do hair herself, and will hire someone else to do the hair. Be sure to request someone who is experienced for hair. Overall a great experience, I would recommend her.
Perfect, flawless makeup. Always professional and knew exactly what I was looking for.I am South Indian and my husband is Punjabi. I wanted a traditional look for the wedding and a modern smoky eye look for the reception.I couldn't be more happy with the end product. My morning makeup was bright, elegant and beautiful. At night, it was bold and glamorous.There are few people out there as intuitive and talented as Vijay and she definitely makes your special day memorable!!
Vijay aunty was great! She met with me a few times before my engagement party to talk about what look I was looking for and to find the right shade for me. She took her time and did a great job. Everyone loved my makeup!

Absolutely, please ask! Salons will always try to accommodate your wishes, although beauty salons do recommend that you book your treatments in advance.
Children are welcome as long as they are scheduled for beauty services. If not, salons ask that you respect the other customers peace and quiet by leaving your children at home. This also allows you time for yourself to enjoy your salon services.
