he MINT, has been a banker for over 45 years. Mr. Bubier began his career in 1969 as a credit investigator/analyst with Southern National Bank (“Southern”; later renamed Texas American Bank/Houston), a major commercial bank in downtown Houston. He managed the Note Department, the Credit Department, the Real Estate Loan Department, and the Commercial Lending Division. His final assignment at Southern was Executive Vice President and Manager of the Administrative Group which included the Operations, Accounting, Loan Administration and Trust functions. In 1984 Mr. Bubier left Southern to become an organizer of Kingwood Bank and served as its President from 1984 until its sale in 1995. From 1995 until its sale in 1996, Mr. Bubier was President of FirstBanc Savings Association of Texas. In 1997, he led a group which purchased control of Main Street Bank and served as its Chairman and President from March 1997 until its sale to an investment group in September 2004. Mr. Bubier remained with Main Street as its Regional President and Director through April 2007 when he left to organize The MINT.
