Rated 5.0  Choosing Blue Llama Events for our 2 day Indian-Irish American fusion wedding was the best decision we made. Working with Jean and her team was seamless; Jean professionally guided us through each decision we had to make. She listened to our vision and ideas and made them into reality- but better. With Jean's expertise and impressive vendor relationships, we were able to create a wedding welcome event with fire dancers that ended up being the first event of it's kind at the Conrad Indianapolis! The May weather in Indy started raining on our parade - literally - but Jean quickly pivoted, and our Baraat was relocated to the Conrad's lobby. She ran the decision by me briefly that morning, but I had built that trust, so approving the last minute decision I believe is what made this event one of our most special for Sean. Some of the planning was long distance, and Jean always made sure to include us via phone/text/video with any updates. She is a master trouble shooter when it comes to semi-destination (& Indian-American) weddings! I was worried about making such big decisions over phone or email but with Jean meeting with the vendors and the endless communication, she was able to really provide us with the peace of mind that everything was in order during the final days leading up to the wedding weekend. On wedding day, she arrived before first call and delegated each task to the hired vendors with politeness and professionalism. As the bride, I was able to focus on relaxing with my fiance and family to enjoy the wedding events we worked so hard to plan! Jean took the time to understand my personality as a hands-on bride which left me feeling confident and relieved in my choice of Blue Llama Events for a full service wedding planner. Rated 5.0  Jean & Team are beyond wonderful at what they do. For a Celebration of Life, Jean executed a beautiful park installation floral design and arrangements for the tables. She exceeded my expectations and left me in tears and smiles for the event.

As the wedding planner, she was knowledgeable, supportive, organized, and genuinely so fun to work alongside. One of the things I appreciated most was how seamlessly she handled the timeline and planning details, which allowed me to fully focus on my couple and their experience — exactly how it should be. And beyond all of that, she is just SO kind. Her presence throughout the day was calm, warm, and uplifting, and I know our couple truly valued her as well. Rated 5.0  Going with Jean Rivers and her team at Blue Llama Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Not only do they have an outstanding knowledge of the industry, relationships with the best vendors, an awesome eye for design, and a natural feel for event curation, but they took the time and asked the right questions to truly understand who we are as a couple. Every aspect of the weekend was deliberately curated to reflect who we are and to give our guests a wonderful experience, tailored to us. Blue Llama was well organized and presented us with a lot of great options for every detail, without being overwhelming. They made wedding planning fun and breezy.
