Our goal is to build healthy families by building healthy infants, children and adolescents. We want to help keep your children healthy and build a solid foundation of wellness with routine check-up visits, immunizations, and health screenings in areas such as development, hearing, and laboratory studies. When illness strikes, we want to provide you with diagnosis and management whether it be routine childhood illnesses or something serious or chronic. Consider Building Blocks Pediatrics as your child’s “medical home”. We want your experience to be personalized with a practice that knows their patients. We believe that pediatric medicine is a cooperative endeavor between parents, physicians and children. Dr. Kristi and Dr. Dori have a combined greater than 25 years of experience treating children including over 20 years’ experience serving children of the triangle area.

Rated 5.0 This is a great place to take your children! Dr. Dori Thomas is a great and thorough Doctor. I have several children with special needs. She takes her time at each appointment and makes sure you understand everything. I've always been able to get in when my kids are sick. The office staff is amazing and so is her nurse. We love her for a doctor!

Rated 5.0 I Love this office! As a transplant from Colorado and a mother of two children 4 and 8, I have seen a lot of Pediatric offices in my time. This office has a wonderful staff, a great nurse and the doctor is extremely thorough. You don't want to have to bring children back over and over for the same thing which is what tends to happen when they see someone new each time in a practice. I'm lucky to have found Dr.Dori Thomas so quickly after moving here.
