sahil/sugar events & entertainment was the dj for my wedding back in 2021 and we had him dj my sister’s wedding this may (2026). he is an amazing dj and coordinator who is communicative and switched on to everything happening in the event. notably, they are punctual and take time to familiarize with the venue before the event. they have excellent knowledge of the desi classics, but also knew the right bangers for american music (rare to find a dj with both!). at my wedding, we gave sahil just a few requests and he handled the free dancing by going with the vibes. with my sister’s wedding, sahil accommodated all of her detailed requests for playlists, genres, and vibes. as emcee, he also kept things right on schedule and checked in with me for any announcements. i would definitely recommend working with sahil, kanden, ayush, and dhyey for any event— especially desi weddings because their blend of desi/western music is on point and they are prepared for the cultural/religious nuances. appreciate this team!!

Sahil and his team did an excellent job at our wedding. He goes above and beyond to make sure that everything goes smoothly. I loved the fact that he scheduled an introductory call, then another one 6 months out, 2 months out, then few weeks out. This made planning so much easier and his timeline helped us plan our wedding overall — really made a difference. In terms of music, there wasn’t a single complaint from our guests. We gave him full freedom to play whatever he wants and his team did not disappoint. From lighting to smoke guns to sparklers, everything was on point. Our location was pretty dark with dim lights but his lighting team did a great job. He goes above and beyond to accommodate for your requests. I will definitely recommend him.

After our initial interview with Sahil, we had no doubt in our minds that he was going to be our wedding DJ. Gursimran did a phenomenal job with music selection, and he catered to all crowds younger and older. He knew exact music to play based on who was on the dance floor and when there was everyone, played fire songs from all categories. Very highly recommend Sugar Entertainment!

Sahil and his team did an excellent job at our wedding. He goes above and beyond to make sure that everything goes smoothly. I loved the fact that he scheduled an introductory call, then another one 6 months out, 2 months out, then few weeks out. This made planning so much easier and his timeline helped us plan our wedding overall — really made a difference. In terms of music, there wasn’t a single complaint from our guests. We gave him full freedom to play whatever he wants and his team did not disappoint. From lighting to smoke guns to sparklers, everything was on point. Our location was pretty dark with dim lights but his lighting team did a great job. He goes above and beyond to accommodate for your requests. I will definitely recommend him.

We signed up for the DJ + Partial Planning package for our wedding. Sugar Events was absolutely incredible and helped us pull off an awesome event that ran perfectly on schedule with little to no issues. Planner: We went with the partial planning option where we would primarily do the work of connecting with and choosing vendors initially and Riddhi would manage the coordination a few weeks before the event. (Note: there is a full option where Sugar Events would do the work to pick the vendors as well). Riddhi met with us very early on and helped us come up with a planning timeline of when we needed to finalize on what items (decor, food, photos, guest list, etc). She also gave us invaluable feedback on the day-of timeline and was a good sounding board for a lot of our decisions. We had no idea that our vendors needed as much time as they did, and we would have been in hard place were it not for her expertise. For day-of planning, Riddhi talked to all of the vendors and the venue to co-ordinate setup and tear down timelines a couple weeks before the event. On the day of, she made sure everything ran on time, coordinating family and friends, and making sure we didn't have to do the work ourselves. She also made sure we were fed and were having a good time. DJ: Sahil met us with before the event to understand what kind of music we would want to play at our wedding and when. In some cases we asked for very specific songs to be played, and in others we asked him to pick something in a specific theme. During the day of, Sahil was the MC, announcing important information and running the reception program. He has done many of these and knew how to keep the crowd interested and energized. He also was the DJ for the dance floor and did a phenomenal job. The music was great and also fit what we wanted. He also went above and beyond and added a few things we didn't even ask for, like letting us pretend to DJ. Overall, both Sahil and Riddhi were fantastic. They made us feel at ease, and took all of the work out of us and our families' plates, letting us just enjoy the event. We will be recommending them to all of our friends.

They were constantly hyping us up and supporting us, and by the end of the weekend they truly felt like family. A huge shoutout to Sahil and Viraj for the DJing at our Reception, Sangeet/Garba, & Baarat; Sahil and Rishi for MCing the Reception/Baarat; and Surya for bringing the energy with the dhol! Extra special shoutout to Sahil, who is a big brother to me, for making the dance floor absolutely unreal-hands down the most fun we’ve ever had! Sahil perfectly blended Bollywood, Tamil music, and American hits in a way that kept the crowd dancing the entire night. His MC style is so energetic and engaging that it felt like being at our own private concert, and our guests are still talking about it!! He is so beyond talented & the exact energy you need at your events! We also highly recommend the content creation team from Sweet Little Things (Puja, Rachna, and Jasmein). They captured so many behind-the-scenes and intimate moments that we will cherish forever-moments that traditional photo and video don’t always catch! They are also so kind, loving & hype you up constantly! They're the perfect energy you want around you during your wedding weekend or any important event! What makes this team so special is not just their talent and professionalism, but how much they genuinely care. From the first planning stages to even after the wedding, they were there for us every step of the way. It takes an incredible amount of teamwork and dedication to execute a wedding like ours, and they made everything feel effortless. Neha might be the best wedding planner and coordinator in existence. She specializes in mixed culture weddings (Hindu and Jewish in our case) and worked hard to ensure smooth and seamless coordination for our sangeet and wedding. We wanted a fusion ceremony with two officiants, and Neha helped us to execute our vision to perfection. She not only helped us find officiants that met our needs, but worked with them to ensure the ceremony would be clean, crisp, and quick (under 40 mins!!). Neha knows all the secrets of finding the perfect vendors for your event - we have been getting so many compliments from our guests on our food and our band selection for the wedding. We opted for full service planning and it was worth every penny. Neha is extremely detail-oriented, and helped us secure two venues, dealt with all the contracts, phone calls, and follow ups, and ensured all vendors were reliable and affordable for our budget. We cannot recommend Neha enough - we spoke to 5 different planners, all offering various packages and prices (and all claiming to have extensive experience with weddings, though social media does not lie). Neha was the one with the expertise and professionalism that won us over. She is worth it! Thanks Neha! As a vendor, it is extremely refreshing to see a wedding planner who was as organized and communicative as Neha. Our company was hired to provide photo booth services for a wedding at The Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ and the whole process was a joy as Neha made sure to set up meetings, answer questions and make sure the vendors were taken care of all the way up until the end of the event. The wedding was seamless so I know that she goes even more above and beyond for her clients. I hope to work with her again in the future.

From the moment we talked to Neha we knew she would put us at ease for our day. We had monthly meetings which we found helpful in keeping track of our progress for the wedding day as well as the pre events for an Indian wedding. Neha kept us accountable (down to making sure I packed deodorant for our wedding morning!) while understanding that we worked full time and was extremely flexible with meeting timings and deadlines, which we so appreciated. This monthly check in helped us get to know each other better so we can have a more successful event. She truly made everything a breeze - from vendor communication, tips and tricks, questions to ask, and consolidating the plethora of forms into one - Neha truly values your time and makes every meeting productive and task-oriented. The day of our wedding, Neha and her team were incredible. They operated professionally and kept to the schedule we had planned. One moment that stands out is when Lisa went out to my (the Bride's) Baraat car and pre-cooled the car with AC since the day was very hot out. It's attention to detail like this that solidifies our choice in Neha and her team. They were able to allow us to enjoy our wedding day (and actually have time to eat!) instead of being pulled into menial tasks that a bride and groom would normally run into on their wedding day. Prior to our day we thoroughly discussed common scenarios that may occur (uninvited guests, gratuity distribution, vendor check-ins...etc) that made the day run smoother knowing what we would want to happen in those situations and being prepared. Jean and her team were beyond amazing!! They went above and beyond their roles! From the moment we met with Jean, she was so organized and on top of everything, I knew hiring her was the right choice! For our reception, we had a lot of small details to be executed and her team set it up exactly as I envisioned. Jean was the go to for the night, my right hand woman, to guide us through the order of events. Right after our ceremony, we realized we forgot to bring the sparklers for our sparkler exit, I was devastated, and literally minutes later Jean said don't worry about it, we have it taken care of, no joke, within an hour her team found an open store on a Sunday, got long sparklers and had them put in the sparkler jar in time for sparkler sendoff. That meant the world to us since that's the one moment we were beyond excited for! Her and her team were lifesavers!! She stayed until the very end, cleaning everything up and packing it all into my family's vehicles. We were blown away by how efficient she was! Such a pro! We will definitely recommend her to engaged friends! A day of coordinator is definitely worth every penny, especially if it's Blue Llama Events! Jean is the best! She gets things done! She was the Coordinator of a wedding that I photographed and she did an amazing job!!! There was a problem with a DIY bridal detail that malfunctioned and I didn’t even notice because she was able to smoothly make it work and the reception was absolutely flawless! My experience with Blue Llama Events was phenomenal. Everything went off perfectly and it was an extremely difficult event to plan and execute. I came to Blue Llama Events with a completely bespoke event request. Other event planners did not even want to take on the project, and Jean welcomed the challenge. The logistics were difficult, as everyone attending was from out of town, so all of the planning had to be done from a distance, but I always felt reassured that everything was set and ready to go. Her coordinator, Katie, helped us on the day-of, and she kept our unusual event from becoming stressful. We had originally planned a December 2020 wedding, and like so many couples, the pandemic created too much uncertainty to move forward. In June, my fiance and I decided to elope in our backyard - with 20 days notice. Jean and her team stepped up without hesitating. She kept us on track, helped us think through these strange scenarios, and made the whole day so special and stress-free. We look forward to working with her on our post-pandemic party plan!

I went with the month-of option and Jean and her team not only were there to help with random questions and give suggestions before that month-of takeover but executed every detail better than I could have ever imagined. Jean and her team are amazing at what they do. We had an Indian and American fusion wedding. She took the ideas I had and turned it in to a fairytale wedding. Of course with every wedding, there is going to be issues. Our photographer got covid 2 days before the wedding and she took care of the issue so we did not stress. She had all the contacts for vendors, she booked everything, sent out invitations, got permits for the baraat, arranged details with photographers, and basically created a beautiful wedding that not only my husband and I will never forget, but neither will the guests forget. And she knew more about Indian weddings than I did! She is so professional but also she became my friend in the end. I’m so grateful for Jean and her team!

She was quick with communication and coordination between me and the wedding venue – which had been a HUGE struggle before working with Jean. She always kept my wishes as a top priority and truly had my back throughout the months that we worked together. Even on the wedding day she was the one person that kept me sane and relaxed! I could not be more thankful to have had Jean as a part of our big day!

I wish I could give Jean and Blue Llama Events more than 5 stars - highly recommend! I went with the month-of option and Jean and her team not only were there to help with random questions and give suggestions before that month-of takeover but executed every detail better than I could have ever imagined. Jean and her team are the main reason my now-husband and I were able to relax and actually enjoy our wedding day and we are so incredibly thankful for their skill and professionalism. I started planning my wedding by myself for an out of state venue that didn’t have many included amenities. When it came to putting it all together, I felt lost. This is where Jean came in and saved the day (literally)! We hired her 3 months out for her coordinating services and wish we would have hired her from the beginning! She is beyond professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful. She coordinated with our vendors before our wedding, sorted out finishing details with me, ran our rehearsal, set up the day of the event, and handled every detail of the wedding. My daughter had her perfect wedding - and it was all because of Jean. Besides living in a different state, I knew nothing about planning a wedding and finding vendors. From our initial zoom meeting, my daughter and I felt like we had known Jean forever. She understood our vision of the wedding & reception and carried that vision through in every aspect - flowers, photographer, tablecloths, DJ, etc. The other important thing to me, as Mother of the Bride, was to be able to enjoy the day with my daughter. I had a unique experience with Jean in that our wedding was scheduled for March 28, 2020 — right at the time of the first lockdown. We had already been planning for a year, but Jean quickly took the initiative in rescheduling with all vendors. We ended up rescheduling twice due to the pandemic and finally had our amazing reception on Feb 19, 2022 Through all the cancellations, vendor changes, and small detail changes, Jean was there to make sure everything went smoothly. Planning and replanning this for 3 years would not have been possible without her. The reception was magical and everything I wanted. I cannot recommend her services enough!

I had a wonderful experience working with Jean in planning my wedding! Jean and her team literally took care of everything. All I had to do was show up for appointments, most of which were virtual which was very convenient for me since I live a ways away from her office. She made recommendations for florists, photographers, etc and even found a wedding pet sitter for us! She also helped organize our rehearsal brunch. All of our guests raved about how organized and beautiful the wedding was and this is because of Jean’s good work! I could sit back and relax and rest assured that everything for my wedding was taken care of. Where to begin.. Jean and her team are one of a kind. We hired Jean right from the beginning and were always in contact with her for the 1.5 yrs of planning! She was the point of contact for our venders, set up meetings with them, and handled EVERYTHING the day of the wedding. I didn’t have to worry about anything but enjoying my wedding day, which is something not a lot of people get to do. Her team helped set up the decorations, take them down, and pack them into my families car. We had our dogs in our wedding and her team even brought treats to help distract them when needed. Jean and her team are amazing at what they do. We had an Indian and American fusion wedding. She took the ideas I had and turned it in to a fairytale wedding. Of course with every wedding, there is going to be issues. Our photographer got covid 2 days before the wedding and she took care of the issue so we did not stress. She had all the contacts for vendors, she booked everything, sent out invitations, got permits for the baraat, arranged details with photographers, and basically created a beautiful wedding that not only my husband and I will never forget, but neither will the guests forget. And she knew more about Indian weddings than I did! She is so professional but also she became my friend in the end. I’m so grateful for Jean and her team!

My experience with Blue Llama Events was phenomenal. Everything went off perfectly and it was an extremely difficult event to plan and execute. I came to Blue Llama Events with a completely bespoke event request. Other event planners did not even want to take on the project, and Jean welcomed the challenge. The logistics were difficult, as everyone attending was from out of town, so all of the planning had to be done from a distance, but I always felt reassured that everything was set and ready to go. Jean runs a very tight ship, everything is thoroughly thought out, many options are given, accompanied by excellent advice. Expenses are watched carefully, and the attention to detail is outstanding. Jean is operates the business with the utmost integrity and professionalism. I could not have been happier with the experience and the result!
