His formal religious training includes Pancharatra Agama for 3 years and Krishna Yajurveda poorva prayogam (vivaha, upanayanam, namakaranam, choula, annaprasana etc,) for 4 years in Gayatri Veda Patashale Kolar. He has performed Kumbhabhishekams in various parts of states in USA and other temples in USA as well as in India. Murali Bhattar has over 18 years of experience, prior to coming to our temple; he worked at Sri Ganehsa Temple in Nashville TN for 12 years. He is also well versed in Shaiva Sampradaaya poojas and north Indian rituals. He has very good experience in conducting ganapathi homa, auyushya homa sudarsana homa, rudra homa, mrityunjaya homa etc. He speaks Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English.
