In 1957 Robert Kuehnle, Sr. began selling vegetable and flower plants at his neighborhood grocery store on the south side of Chicago. He raised these plants himself on his Michigan farm and pledged to sell only the highest quality plants. Still run by the Kuehnle family, that Clovers promise continues today.
