Rated 5.0 I don’t normally leave reviews unless my experience was a positive one but after going to a different dentist and having a great experience I decided I’m going to review both It’s been a couple months since I’ve seen Dr Patel my boyfriend had seen her during covid and referred me and I had such bad pain in one of my teeth and she had really good reviews so I didn’t think my experience would be so bad She decided we would try to do minimal work since I found out I was pregnant and crown the tooth without doing a root canal but doing the pulpectomy only put that tooth in more pain I felt like my pain was completely dismissed numbing wasn’t working either but she would tell me “you should be fine hun I’ve given you plenty” I insisted I needed to do a root canal on the tooth like she had first recommended and I didn’t want her to crown the tooth until it was done I felt like she just wanted to cement the crown and get me out of there and felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously On top of that her interactions with her dental assistants was unprofessional It doesn’t make you feel very confident to hear her complain to them that they gave her the wrong filling/cement to put in your mouth and that they’re doing things wrong I don’t understand the positive reviews I found more professional and more affordable dental work elsewhere and was told I needed less work done than what I was told I would need by cottonwood dental
