Curry Craft, Chef Jesse Garg is a professional Indian chef who has had a passion of cooking since the young age of seven. Growing up, he watched his father, a great cook. Jesse learned his cooking skills from him and his father shared recipes. Jesse’s goal was to fulfill his father’s dream - to open a restaurant or pub in the United States. About 20 years ago, Chef Jesse found the opportunity to pursue this goal. He arrived to the United States and began his restaurant career working at Grinders. A few years later in 2000, Chef Jesse and his wife opened “Indian Princess” in San Marcos, their first Indian restaurant, which continues to be in business even today. Outside of his own kitchen, Chef Jesse has spread his cooking passion to others. He has showcased some of his cooking tips on Channel 8 of San Diego and dedicatedly creates many flavorful recipes for people to enjoy. Chef Jesse’s latest venture is Curry Craft, a cuisine which combines both traditional and modern Indian tastes.
Rated 5.0 You must order their naan! Fresh handmade and perfect every time! Excellent service . All the food we tried is spectacular. You can tell this place cooks with heart and soul. Authentic Indian cuisine in a casual clean atmosphere.
Rated 5.0 Being vegan with a no salt, sugar and minimal oil food requirement usually prohibits us to eat Indian when we eat out. But Curry Craft San Marcos made it not only possible, the friendly and sociable owner personally made sure our every wish came through and the food was incredible!!! Definitely on the top of our very short list of places to come back to over and over again.
