About DFW Dental Team

DFW Dental Team is a dental practice based 100% on referrals from other pediatric and family dentists. We welcome children and special-needs patients of all ages who are not able to safely receive their dental treatment in a traditional dental office setting. We aim to deliver the highest quality care at the lowest cost, and strengthen the existing relationships between patients and their critically important primary care providers. We work with an exceptional group of healthcare professionals, and welcome each patient with the same care and attention we desire for our own family members. Dr. Sukkawala grew up in Amarillo, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, and attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in San Antonio, he practiced general dentistry in Temple, Texas for the next five years. After seeing many children in his practice, he decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry. He completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio, where he provided comprehensive clinical care for well children and those with special needs including emergency care, procedures in the dental office using conscious sedation, and treatment in the operating room and in the office under general anesthesia. Dr. Sukkawala is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Sukkawala is married to Jothi and they have three boys, Rohen, Ravi, and little Rian. His hobbies include playing tennis, traveling, hiking, and hanging out with his family. For more details contact us.
