Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. Naturally, for a mixed Desi and Arab wedding, it’s always a point of concern to make sure people from both cultures are enjoying the music and having a good time throughout the event. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. Vinay and Aparna are amazing singers. They made our friends’ 15th anniversary truly special with their surreal performances. We were all blown away with their soul touching voices and choice of songs. Listening to Kishore Kumar classics in Vinay’s voice took everyone to the golden age of Bollywood. Aparna brought back memories of Lata Di and Madan Mohan with Abhi Na Jao. I loved how they also incorporated children’s music. They are a complete package. Highly recommended!

Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Vinay was super responsive and pleasant to work with. Aparna and him made the party fun for everyone! They also sang part of first dance for my parents which was really cute. Would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for energetic and kind MCs, live singers, and DJ!

I really don’t know where to begin but I’d like to start off by saying, JT IS THE ONE! he went above and beyond for all of my wedding events. I started planning over a year ago and he was by my side helping me, giving me his opinion and advice on certain things I had no idea of. JT was a phenomenal DJ and MC. He helped me find a photographer, Dholi, floor wrap and literally everything else that was needed for my wedding. JT provided me with the best package ever that included lighting, screens, c02 guns, dry ice and much more. if you want your guests to have an amazing time and not be bored for even one second then I recommend JT without any hesitation. The price is very reasonable compared to all other Dj’s and Emcee’s services out there. Vinay was great hosting our event did great job entertaining the crowd. The song selections were also great. I would love to have them at another event. It was the best decision we made to book them for our event.

Mehekte Sur Jodi was more than just singing. They coordinated a very personalized theme and engaged the crowd. Babyshowers are usually games and all but this added a little variety to the event

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

I was a photographer at one of the events that Mehekte Sur were performing at and they were great! They create such a warm and lively atmosphere for everyone to enjoy and were amazing at catering their songs to match the crowd's likes. We had invited the group “Mehekte Sur” for my in-laws 50th marriage anniversary celebrations. Husband wife duo were fantastic singers. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. They were amazing at engaging the guests, by making it fun and interactive function. All the seniors got on the dance floor and it was really special and we made some amazing memories.
